Surah 2, ayah 132

  1. وَوَصّٰیاور وصیت کی
  2. بِهَاۤساتھ اس کے / اسی کی
  3. اِبْرٰهٖمُابراہیم نے
  4. بَنِیْهِاپنے بیٹوں کو
  5. وَیَعْقُوْبُ ؕاوریعقوب نے
  6. یٰبَنِیَّاے میرے بیٹو
  7. اِنَّبیشک
  8. اللّٰهَاللہ نے
  9. اصْطَفٰیچن لیا
  10. لَكُمُتمہارے لئے
  11. الدِّیْنَدین کو
  12. فَلَاتو نہ
  13. تَمُوْتُنَّتم مرنا
  14. اِلَّامگر
  15. وَاَنْتُمْاس میں حال میں کہ تم
  16. مُّسْلِمُوْنَمسلم ہو

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اسی طریقے پر چلنے کی ہدایت اس نے اپنی اولاد کو کی تھی اور اسی کی وصیت یعقوب ؑ1اپنی اولاد کو کر گیا۔ اس نے کہا تھا کہ ”میرے بچو، اللہ نے تمھارے لیے یہی دین پسند کیا ہے۔2 لہٰذا مرتے دم تک تم مسلم ہی رہنا۔“

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور اسی کی وصیتّ کی تھی ابراہیم ؑ نے اپنے بیٹوں کو اور یعقوب نے بھی اے میرے بیٹو ! اللہ نے تمہارے لیے یہی دین پسند فرمایا ہے پس تم ہرگز نہ مرنا مگر مسلمان !

Commentary

آیت 132 وَوَصّٰی بِہَآ اِبْرٰہٖمُ بَنِیْہِ وَیَعْقُوْبُ ط آگے وہ نصیحت بیان ہو رہی ہے :یٰبَنِیَّ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ اصْطَفٰی لَکُمُ الدِّیْنَ فَلاَ تَمُوتُنَّ الاَّ وَاَنْتُمْ مُّسْلِمُوْنَ دیکھنا تمہیں موت نہ آنے پائے ‘ مگر فرماں برداری کی حالت میں ! یہی بات سورة آل عمران میں مسلمانوں سے خطاب کر کے فرمائی گئی : یٰٓاَیُّہَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللّٰہَ حَقَّ تُقٰتِہٖ وَلاَ تَمُوْتُنَّ الاَّ وَاَنْتُمْ مُّسْلِمُوْنَ اے لوگو جو ایمان لائے ہو ! اللہ کا تقویٰ اختیار کرو جیسا کہ اس کے تقویٰ کا حق ہے اور تم کو موت نہ آئے ‘ مگر اس حال میں کہ تم مسلم ہو۔ اور فرمایا : اِنَّ الدِّیْنَ عِنْدَ اللّٰہِ الْاِسْلاَمُ آیت 19 یقیناً دین تو اللہ کے نزدیک صرف اسلام ہے۔ مزید فرمایا : وَمَنْ یَّبْتَغِ غَیْرَ الْاِسْلاَمِ دِیْنًا فَلَنْ یُّقْبَلَ مِنْہُ ج آیت 85 اور جو کوئی اسلام کے سوا کوئی اور دین اختیار کرنا چاہے تو اس سے وہ ہرگز قبول نہ کیا جائے گا۔
