آیت 98 وَکَمْ اَہْلَکْنَا قَبْلَہُمْ مِّنْ قَرْنٍط ہَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْہُمْ مِّنْ اَحَدٍ اَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَہُمْ رِکْزًا ”کیا آج قوم ثمود کی کہیں آہٹ سنائی دیتی ہے ؟ یا قوم عاد کا کوئی نام و نشان نظر آتا ہے ؟ ماضی کی تمام نافرمان قوموں کو صفحہ ہستی سے نیست و نابود کر کے نسیاً منسیاً کردیا گیا ہے۔ چناچہ قریش مکہّ جو آج کفر و سرکشی میں حد سے بڑھے جا رہے ہیں وہ بھی اسی انجام سے دو چار ہوسکتے ہیں۔بارک اللّٰہ لی ولکم فی القرآن العظیم ‘ ونفعنی وایاکم بالآیات والذِّکر الحکیم۔
