Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اُس وقت لوگ کوئی سفارش لانے پر قادر نہ ہوں گے بجز اُس کے جس نے رحمٰن کے حضور سے پروانہ حاصل کر لیا ہو۔1

  1. یعنی سفارش اسی کے حق میں ہو گی جس نے پروانہ حاصل کیا ہو، اور وہی سفارش کر سکے گا جسے پروانہ ملا ہو۔ آیت کے الفاظ ایسے ہیں جو دونو ں پہلو ؤں پر یکساں روشنی ڈالتے ہیں۔                 یہ بات کہ سفارش صرف اسی کے حق میں ہو سکے گی جس نے رحمان سے پروانہ حاصل کر لیا ہو، اس کا مطلب یہ ہےکہ جس نے دنیا میں ایمان لا کر اور خدا سے کچھ تعلق جوڑ کر اپنے آپ کو خدا کے عفو و درگزر کا مستحق بنا لیا ہو۔ اور یہ بات کہ سفارش وہی کر سکے گا جس کو پروانہ ملا ہو، اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ لوگوں نے جن جن کو اپنا شفیع اور سفارشی سمجھ لیا ہے وہ سفارشیں کرنے کے مجاز نہ ہوں گے بلکہ خدا خود جس کو اجازت دے گا وہی شفاعت کے لیے زبان کھول سکے گا۔
