آیت 69 ثُمَّ لَنَنْزِعَنَّ مِنْ کُلِّ شِیْعَۃٍ اَیُّہُمْ اَشَدُّ عَلَی الرَّحْمٰنِ عِتِیًّا ”اس اجتماع میں سے ہر ہر گروہ کے ایسے سرکردہ لیڈروں کو چن چن کر علیحدہ کیا جائے گا جو اللہ تعالیٰ کے معاملے میں زیادہ اکڑنے والے تھے اور اس کے مقابلے میں سرکشی اور گستاخی میں پیش پیش رہتے تھے۔ چناچہ ابو جہل اور عقبہ بن ابی معیط جیسے بڑے بڑے مجرموں کو چھانٹ کر الگ کرلیا جائے گا۔
