  1. فَخَلَفَتو پیچھے آئے

  3. بَعْدِهِمْان کے بعد
  4. خَلْفٌناخلف جانشین
  5. اَضَاعُواجنہوں نے ضائع کردی
  6. الصَّلٰوةَنماز
  7. وَاتَّبَعُوااور انہوں نے پیروی کی
  8. الشَّهَوٰتِخواہشات کی
  9. فَسَوْفَتو عنقریب
  10. یَلْقَوْنَوہ جاملیں گے
  11. غَیًّاعذاب کو۔ گمراہی میں

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

پھر ان کے بعد وہ نا خلف لوگ ان کے جانشین ہوئے جنہوں نے نماز کو ضائع کیا1 اور خواہشاتِ نفس کی پیروی کی،2 پس قریب ہے کہ وہ گمراہی کے انجام سے دوچار ہوں

  1. یعنی نماز پڑھنی چھوڑ دی، یا نماز سے غفلت اور بے پروائی برتنے لگے۔ یہ ہر اُمت کے زوال و انحطاط کا پہلا قدم ہے۔ نماز وہ اوّلین  رابطہ ہے جو مومن کا زندہ اور عملی تعلق خدا کے ساتھ شب و روز جوڑے رکھتا ہے اور اسے خدا پرستی کے مرکز و محور  سے بچھڑنے نہیں دیتا۔ یہ بندھن ٹوٹتے ہی آدمی خدا سے دور اور دُور تر ہوتا چلا جاتا ہے حتیٰ کہ عملی تعلق سے گزر کر اس کا خیالی تعلق بھی خدا کے ساتھ باقی نہیں رہتا ۔ اسی لیے اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہاں یہ بات ایک قاعدہ ٔ  کلیہ کے طور پر بیان فرمائی  ہے کہ پچھلے تمام انبیاء کی اُمتوں کا بگاڑ نماز ضائع کرنے سے شروع ہو ا ہے۔

  2. یہ تعلق باللہ کی کمی اور اس کے فقدان کا لازمی نتیجہ ہے ۔ نماز کی اضاعت سے جب دل خدا کی یاد سے غافل  رہنے لگے تو جوں جوں یہ غفلت بڑھتی گئی، خواہشاتِ نفس کی بندگی میں بھی اضافہ ہوتا چلا گیا یہاں تک  کہ ان کے اخلاق اور معاملات کا ہر گوشہ احکامِ الہٰی کے بجائے اپنے من مانے طریقوں کا پابند ہو کر رہا۔

پھر جانشین ہوئے ان کے بعد نا خلف لوگ انہوں نے نماز کو ضائع کردیا اور خواہشات کی پیروی کی تو عنقریب وہ ملیں گے گمراہی سے

Commentary

آیت 59 فَخَلَفَ مِنْم بَعْدِہِمْ خَلْفٌ ””خَلْف“ کا لفظ جب ”ل“ ساکن کے ساتھ آتا ہے تو اس کے معنی ”نا خلف“ کے لیے جاتے ہیں۔ یعنی اپنے اسلاف کے کردار کے خلاف عمل کرنے والے اور ان کی نیک نامی اور بزرگی کوّ بٹہ لگانے والے لوگ۔اَضَاعُوا الصَّلٰوۃَ وَاتَّبَعُوا الشَّہَوٰتِ فَسَوْفَ یَلْقَوْنَ غَیًّا ”یعنی عنقریب وہ گمراہی کے انجام سے دو چار ہوں گے۔
