Translation and commentary
Tafheem-ul-Quran
اللہ کا یہ کام نہیں ہے کہ وہ کسی کو بیٹا بنائے۔ وہ پاک ذات ہے۔ وہ جب کسی بات کا فیصلہ کرتا ہے تو کہتا ہے کہ ہو جا، اور بس وہ ہو جاتی ہے۔1

یہاں تک جو بات عیسائیوں کے سامنے واضح کی گئی ہے وہ یہ ہے کہ حضرت عیسیٰ علیہ السّلام کے متعلق ابن اللہ ہونے کا جو عقیدہ انہوں نے اختیار کر رکھا ہے وہ باطل ہے۔ جس طرح ایک معجزے سے حضرت یحییٰ کی پیدائش نے اُن کو خدا کا بیٹا نہیں بنا دیا اُسی طرح ایک دوسرے معجزے سے حضرت عیسیٰ کی پیدائش بھی کوئی ایسی چیز نہیں ہے جس کی بنا پر انہیں خدا کا بیٹا قرار دے دیا جائے ۔ عیسائیوں کی اپنی روایات میں بھی یہ بات موجود ہے کہ حضرت یحییٰ اور حضرت عیسیٰ ، دونوں ایک ایک طرح کے معجزے سے پیدا ہوئے تھے۔ چنانچہ لوقا کی انجیل میں قرآن ہی کی طرح ان دونوں معجزوں کا ذکر ایک سلسلہ ٔ بیان میں کیا گیا ہے۔ لیکن یہ عیسائیوں کا غلّو ہے کہ وہ ایک معجزے سے پیدا ہونے والے کو اللہ کا بندہ کہتے ہیں اور دوسرے معجزے سے پیدا ہونے والے کو اللہ کا بیٹا بنا بیٹھے ہیں۔

Commentary (one passage for ayahs 19:35, 19:36)
آیت 35 مَا کَانَ لِلّٰہِ اَنْ یَّتَّخِذَ مِنْ وَّلَدٍلا سُبْحٰنَہٗط اِذَا قَضآی اَمْرًا فَاِنَّمَا یَقُوْلُ لَہٗ کُنْ فَیَکُوْنُ یعنی حضرت مسیح علیہ السلام کی ولادت کے سلسلے میں باپ کا حصہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے ایک حرف ”کُن“ کے ذریعے سے پورا ہوا ‘ جبکہ باقی سارا عمل عام فطری اور طبعی طریقے سے تکمیل پذیر ہوا۔ اسی لیے آپ علیہ السلام کو کلمۃٌ منہُ آل عمران : 45 یعنی اللہ کا خاص کلمہ قرار دیا گیا ہے۔
