ور اے محمدؐ ، اس کتاب میں مریم کا حال بیان کرو،1 جبکہ وہ اپنے لوگوں سے الگ ہو کر شرقی جانب گوشہ نشین ہو گئی تھی

اور (اب) ذکر کیجیے اس کتاب (قرآن) میں مریم کا جبکہ وہ اپنے لوگوں سے الگ ہو کر ایک شرقی گوشے میں جا بیٹھی

Commentary

آیت 16 وَاذْکُرْ فِی الْْکِتٰبِ مَرْیَمَ 7 اِذِ انْتَبَذَتْ مِنْ اَہْلِہَا مَکَانًا شَرْقِیًّاحضرت مریم سلامٌ علیہا نے اپنے لوگوں سے الگ تھلگ ہو کر ہیکل سلیمانی کے مشرقی گوشے میں خود کو مقیدّ کرلیا۔ یہ گویا اللہ تعالیٰ کے لیے اعتکاف کی کیفیت تھی۔
