  2. مِّنْسے
  3. لَّدُنَّااپنے پاس سے
  4. وَزَكٰوةً ؕاور پاکیزگی
  5. وَكَانَاور تھا وہ
  6. تَقِیًّاپرہیزگار

اور اپنی طرف سے اس کو نرم دلی1 اور پاکیزہ عطا کی، اور وہ بڑا پرہیز گار

  1. اصل میں لفظ حَنَان استعمال ہوا ہے جو قریب قریب مامتا کا ہم معنی ہے۔ یعنی ایک ماں کو جو غایت درجے کی شفقت اپنی اولاد پر ہوتی ہے ، جس کی بنا پر وہ بچے کی تکلیف پر تڑپ اُٹھتی ہے ، وہ شفقت حضرت یحییٰ کے دل میں بندگانِ خدا کے لیے پیدا کی گئی تھی۔
