Commentary
آیت 23 وَلَا تَقُوْلَنَّ لِشَايْءٍ اِنِّىْ فَاعِلٌ ذٰلِكَ غَدًااس آیت میں ایک بہت اہم واقعہ کا حوالہ ہے۔ جب اہل مکہ نے رسول اللہ سے سوالات کیے تو آپ نے فرمایا کہ میں آپ لوگوں کو ان سوالات کے جوابات کل دے دوں گا۔ اس موقع پر آپ نے سہواً ”ان شاء اللّٰہ“ نہیں فرمایا۔ اس کے بعد کئی روز تک وحی نہ آئی۔ یہ صورت حال آپ کے لیے انتہائی پریشان کن تھی۔ مخالفین خوشی میں تالیاں پیٹ رہے ہوں گے آپ کو ناکامی کے طعنے دے رہے ہوں گے اور آپ کو یہ سب کچھ برداشت کرنا پڑ رہا ہوگا۔ اس سے اندازہ ہوتا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اپنے محبوب بندوں کو کیسی کیسی سخت آزمائشوں سے دوچار کرتا ہے : جن کے رتبے ہیں سوا ان کی سوا مشکل ہے !“عام لوگ اپنی روز مرہ کی گفتگو میں کیسی کیسی لایعنی باتیں کرتے رہتے ہیں لیکن اللہ کے ہاں ان کی پکڑ نہیں ہوتی اس لیے کہ وہ اللہ کے ہاں اہم نہیں ہوتے مگر یہاں ایک انتہائی مقرب ہستی سے سہواً ایک کلمہ ادا ہونے سے رہ گیا تو باوجود اس کے کہ معاملہ بیحد حساس تھا وحی روک لی گئی۔ بالآخر کئی روز کے بعد جب اللہ کو منظور ہوا تو حضرت جبرائیل سوالات کے جوابات بھی لے کر آئے اور ساتھ یہ ہدایت بھی کہ کبھی کسی چیز کے بارے میں یوں نہ کہیں کہ میں کل یہ کروں گا :
