  1. وَّرَبَطْنَااور باندھ دیا ہم نے
  2. عَلٰیکو
  3. قُلُوْبِهِمْان کے دلوں
  4. اِذْجب
  5. قَامُوْاوہ کھڑے ہوئے
  6. فَقَالُوْاپھر کہنے لگے
  7. رَبُّنَارب ہمارا
  8. رَبُّرب ہے
  9. السَّمٰوٰتِآسمانوں کا
  10. وَالْاَرْضِاور زمین کا
  11. لَنْہرگز نہیں
  12. نَّدْعُوَاۡہم پکاریں گے
  13. مِنْاس کے
  14. دُوْنِهٖۤسوا
  15. اِلٰهًاکسی الٰہ کو
  16. لَّقَدْالبتہ تحقیق
  17. قُلْنَاۤکہی ہم نے
  18. اِذًاتب
  19. شَطَطًاحق سے دور بات

Tafheem-ul-Quran

ہم نے ان کے دل اُس وقت مضبوط کر دیے جب وہ اٹھے اور انہوں نے اعلان کر دیا کہ "ہمارا رب تو بس وہی ہے جو آسمانوں اور زمین کا رب ہے ہم اُسے چھوڑ کر کسی دوسرے معبود کو نہ پکاریں گے اگر ہم ایسا کریں تو بالکل بیجا بات کریں گے"

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور ہم نے مضبوط کردیا ان کے دلوں کو جب وہ (بادشاہ کے سامنے) کھڑے ہوئے تو انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمارا رب تو وہ ہے جو آسمانوں اور زمین کا رب ہے ہم ہرگز نہیں پکاریں گے اس کے سوا کسی اور کو معبود (اگر ایسا ہوا) تب تو ہم بہت غلط بات کہیں گے

Commentary

فَقَالُوْا رَبُّنَا رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ لَنْ نَّدْعُوَا۟ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖٓ اِلٰـهًا لَّقَدْ قُلْنَآ اِذًا شَطَطًاجس طرح حضرت ابراہیم نے نمرود کے دربار میں ڈٹ کر حق بات کہی تھی ویسے ہی ان نوجوانوں نے بھی علی الاعلان کہا کہ ہم رب کائنات کو چھوڑ کر کسی دیوی یا دیوتا کو اپنا رب ماننے کو تیار نہیں ہیں۔
