- قَالَکہا
- اَرَءَیْتَكَکیا دیکھا تو نے اپنے آپ کو
- هٰذَایہ ہے
- الَّذِیْجسے
- كَرَّمْتَتو نے عزت بخشی
- عَلَیَّ ؗمجھ پر
- لَىِٕنْالبتہ اگر
- اَخَّرْتَنِتو نے مہلت دی مجھ کو
- اِلٰیتک
- یَوْمِدن
- الْقِیٰمَةِقیامت کے
- لَاَحْتَنِكَنَّالبتہ میں ضرور قابو میں کرلوں گا
- ذُرِّیَّتَهٗۤاس کی اولاد کو
- اِلَّامگر/ سوائے تھوڑوں کے

Tafheem-ul-Quran
پھر وہ بولا”دیکھ تو سہی، کیا یہ اس قابل تھا کہ تُو نے اِسے مجھ پر فضیلت دی؟ اگر تُو مجھے قیامت کے دن تک مہلت دے تو میں اس کی پُوری نسل کی بیخ کَنی کر ڈالوں1، بس تھوڑے ہی لوگ مجھ سے بچ سکیں گے۔“

”بیخ گنی کر ڈالوں“، یعنی ان کے قدم سلامتی کی راہ سے اکھاڑ پھینکوں۔”احتناک“کے اصل معنی کسی چیز کو جڑ سے اکھاڑ دینے کے ہیں۔ چونکہ انسان کا اصل مقام خلافتِ الہٰی ہے جس کا تقاضا اطاعت میں ثابت قدم رہنا ہے، اس لیے اس مقام سے اُس کا ہٹ جانا بالکل ایسا ہے جیسے کسی درخت کا بیخ دبن سے اُکھاڑ پھینکا جانا۔
