  1. قُلِکہہ دیجئے
  2. ادْعُواکہ پکارو
  3. الَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کو
  4. زَعَمْتُمْتم گمان رکھتے ہو
  5. مِّنْسے
  6. دُوْنِهٖاس کے سوا تو
  7. فَلَانہیں
  8. یَمْلِكُوْنَوہ مالک ہوسکتے
  9. كَشْفَہٹانے کے
  10. الضُّرِّتکلیف
  11. عَنْكُمْتم سے
  12. وَلَااور نہ
  13. تَحْوِیْلًابدلنے کے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اِن سے کہو، پکار دیکھو اُن معبودوں کو جن کو تم خدا کے سوا (اپنا کارساز)سمجھتے ہو، وہ کسی تکلیف کو تم سے نہ ہٹا سکتے ہیں نہ بدل سکتے ہیں۔1

  1. اس سے صاف معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ غیر اللہ کو سجدہ کرنا ہی شرک نہیں ہے ، بلکہ خدا کے سوا کسی دوسری ہستی سے دعا مانگنا، یا اس کو مدد کے لیے پکارنا بھی شرک ہے۔ دعا اور استمدادو استعانت ، اپنی حقیقت کے  اعتبار سے عبادت ہی ہیں اور غیر اللہ سے مناجات کرنے والا ویسا ہی مجرم ہے جیسا یک بت پرست مجرم ہے۔ نیز اس سے یہ بھی معلوم ہوا کہ اللہ کے سوا  کسی کو بھی کچھ اختیارات حاصل نہیں ہیں۔نہ کوئی دوسرا کسی مصیبت کو ٹال سکتا ہے نہ کسی بُری حالت کو اچھی حالت سے بدل سکتا ہے ۔ اس طرح کا اعتقاد خدا کے سوا جس ہستی کے بارے میں بھی رکھا جائے، بہر حال ایک مشرکانہ اعتقاد ہے۔
