  1. یَوْمَجس دن وہ
  2. یَدْعُوْكُمْپکارے گا تم کو
  3. فَتَسْتَجِیْبُوْنَپس تم جواب دوگے
  4. بِحَمْدِهٖساتھ اس کی حمد سے
  5. وَتَظُنُّوْنَاور تم سمجھ جاؤ گے
  6. اِنْکہ نہیں
  7. لَّبِثْتُمْٹھہرے تم
  8. اِلَّامگر
  9. قَلِیْلًابہت تھوڑا

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

جس روز وہ تمہیں پکارے گا تو تم اس کی حمد کرتے ہوئے اس کی پکار کے جواب میں نکل آوٴ گے اور تمہارا گمان اُس وقت یہ ہوگا کہ ہم بس تھوڑی دیر ہی اِس حالت میں پڑے رہے ہیں۔1“

  1. یعنی دنیا میں مرنے کے وقت سے لے کر قیامت میں اُٹھنے کے وقت تک کی مدت تم کو چند گھنٹوں سے زیادہ محسوس نہ ہو گی۔ تم اس وقت یہ سمجھو گے کہ ہم ذرا دیر سوئے پڑے تھے کہ یکایک اس شور محشر نے ہمیں جگا اُٹھایا۔                 اور یہ جو فرمایا کہ تم اللہ کی حمد کرتے ہوئے اٹھ کھڑے ہو گے، تو یہ ایک بڑی حقیقت کی طرف ایک لطیف اشارہ ہے۔ اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ مومن اور کافر، ہر ایک کی زبان پر اس وقت اللہ کی حمد ہو گی۔ مومن کی زبان پر اس لیے کہ پہلی زندگی میں اس کا اعتقاد یقین اور اس کا وظیفہ یہی تھا۔ اور کافر کی زبان پر اس لیے کہ اس کی فطرت میں یہی چیز ودیعت تھی، مگر اپنی حماقت سے وہ اس پر پردہ ڈالے ہوئے تھا۔ اب نئے سرے سے زندگی پاتے وقت سارے مصنوعی حجابات ہٹ جائیں گے اور اصل فطرت کی شہادت بلا ارادہ اس کی زبان پر جاری ہو جائے گی۔

جس دن وہ تمہیں پکارے گا تو تم (اس کی پکار پر) لبیک کہو گے اس کی حمد کرتے ہوئے اور تم گمان کرو گے کہ تم نہیں رہے مگر بہت تھوڑا (عرصہ)

Commentary

آیت 52 يَوْمَ يَدْعُوْكُمْ فَتَسْتَجِيْبُوْنَ بِحَمْدِهٖ جب وہ گھڑی آئے گی اور تمہارا خالق تمہیں قبروں سے باہر آنے کے لیے بلائے گا تو تمہاری ہڈیاں اور تمہارے جسموں کے بکھرے ذرات سب سمٹ کر پھر سے زندہ انسانوں کا روپ دھار لیں گے اور تم اس کی حمد کرتے ہوئے اس کی پکار کی تعمیل میں بھاگے چلے جا رہے ہو گے۔وَتَظُنُّوْنَ اِنْ لَّبِثْتُمْ اِلَّا قَلِيْلًااس وقت تمہیں دنیا اور عالم برزخ قبر میں اپنا بیتا ہوا زمانہ ایسے لگے گا جیسے کہ چند گھڑیاں ہی تم وہاں گزار کر آئے ہو۔
