آیت 42 قُلْ لَّوْ كَانَ مَعَهٗٓ اٰلِـهَةٌ كَمَا يَقُوْلُوْنَ اِذًا لَّابْتَغَوْا اِلٰى ذِي الْعَرْشِ سَبِيْلًا اگر واقعی اللہ کے ساتھ ساتھ دوسرے معبودوں کا بھی کوئی وجود ہوتا تو وہ ضرور سرکشی اور بغاوت کرتے ہوئے اس کے مقابلے میں آنے کی کوشش کرتے۔ جس طرح چھوٹے چھوٹے راجوں کی فطری خواہش ہوتی ہے کہ وہ کسی نہ کسی طرح کوشش کر کے مہاراجہ کی کرسی تک پہنچ جائیں اور اپنی اس خواہش کی تکمیل کے لیے وہ بغاوت تک کا خطرہ مول لے لیتے ہیں اسی طرح اگر اللہ کے بھی شریک ہوتے تو وہ بھی اللہ کے مقابلے میں ضرور مہم جوئی کرتے اور اگر ایسا ہوتا تو اس کائنات کا سارا نظام درہم برہم ہو کر رہ جاتا۔
