  1. وَّیَقُوْلُوْنَاور وہ کہتے ہیں

Tafheem-ul-Quran

ور پکار اُٹھتے ہیں”پاک ہے ہمارا ربّ، اُس کا وعدہ تو پورا ہونا ہی تھا۔“1

اور وہ کہتے ہیں کہ پاک ہے ہمارا رب یقیناً ہمارے رب کا وعدہ تو پورا ہونا ہی تھا

Commentary

آیت 108 وَّيَـقُوْلُوْنَ سُبْحٰنَ رَبِّنَآ اِنْ كَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّنَا لَمَفْعُوْلًاجب قرآن کہہ رہا ہے تو اس کا مطلب ہے کہ علمائے یہود میں لازماً کچھ لوگ ایسے ہوں گے جو اس طرح کے خیالات کے حامل ہوں گے۔ ہجرت سے قبل رسول اللہ کی نبوت کے بارے میں اطلاعات تو یہود مدینہ کو ملتی رہتی تھیں۔ اس کے ساتھ ہی قرآن کی کچھ آیات بھی ان تک ضرور پہنچ چکی ہوں گی۔ اس پس منظر میں ہوسکتا ہے کہ ان کے بعض اہل علم نہ صرف قرآن کو پہچان کر اللہ کے حضور سجدوں میں گرے ہوں بلکہ ان کی زبانوں پر بےاختیار یہ الفاظ بھی آگئے ہوں کہ اللہ نے جو آخری نبی بھیجنے کا وعدہ کر رکھا تھا وہ تو آخر پورا ہونا ہی تھا۔ یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کے اس وعدے کی طرف اشارہ ہے جو بائبل کی کتاب استثناء کے اٹھارہویں باب کی آیت 18 اور 19 میں ان الفاظ میں آج بھی موجود ہے کہ اے موسیٰ میں ان کے بھائیوں بنی اسرائیل کے بھائی یعنی بنو اسماعیل میں تیری مانند ایک نبی اٹھاؤں گا اور اس کے منہ میں اپنا کلام ڈالوں گا اور وہ لوگوں سے وہی کچھ کہے گا جو میں اسے بتاؤں گا۔
