  1. قُلْکہہ دیجئے

  4. تَمْلِكُوْنَمالک ہو
  5. خَزَآىِٕنَخزانوں کے
  6. رَحْمَةِرحمت کے
  7. رَبِّیْۤمیرے رب کی

  9. لَّاَمْسَكْتُمْالبتہ روک لیتے تم
  10. خَشْیَةَڈر سے
  11. الْاِنْفَاقِ ؕخرچ ہوجانے کے
  12. وَكَانَاور ہے
  13. الْاِنْسَانُانسان
  14. قَتُوْرًاکنجوس/ بخیل

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اے محمد ؐ ، اِن سے کہو، اگر کہیں میرے ربّ کی رحمت کے خزانے تمہارے قبضے میں ہوتے تو تم خرچ ہو جانے کے اندیشے سے ضرور ان کو روک رکھتے۔ واقعی انسان بڑا تنگ دل واقع ہوا ہے۔1

  1. یہ اشارہ اسی مضمون کی طرف  ہے جو اس سے پہلے  آیت 55 و َ رَبُّکَ اَعْلَمُ بِمَنْ فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالاَرْضِ میں گزر چکا ہے۔ مشرکین مکہ جن نفسیاتی وجوہ سے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نبوت کا نکار کرتے تھے ان میں سے ایک اہم وجہ یہ تھی کہ اس طرح انہیں آپ کا فضل وشرف ماننا پڑتا تھا، اور اپنے کسی  معاصر اور ہم چشم کا فضل ماننے کے لیے انسان مشکل ہی سے آمادہ ہوا کرتا ہے۔ اسی پر فرمایا جارہاہے کہ جن لوگوں کی بخیلی کا حال یہ ہے کہ کسی کے واقعی مرتبے کا اقرار و اعتراف کرتے ہوئے بھی ان کا دل دکھتا ہے، انہیں اگر کہیں خدا نے اپنے خزانہائے رحمت کی کنجیاں حوالے کر دی ہوتیں تو وہ کسی کو پھوٹی کوڑی بھی نہ دیتے۔

آپ کہیے کہ اگر تمہیں اختیار ہوتا میرے رب کی رحمت کے خزانوں پر تب بھی تم ضرور روک رکھتے (انہیں) خرچ ہوجانے کے ڈر سے اور انسان بہت ہی تنگ دل ہے

Commentary

اِذًا لَّاَمْسَكْتُمْ خَشْيَةَ الْاِنْفَاقِ اگر اللہ کی رحمت کے بےحساب خزانے تمہارے اختیار میں ہوتے تو تم لوگ اپنے فطری بخل کے سبب ان کے دروازے بھی بند کردیتے کہ کہیں خرچ ہو کر ختم نہ ہوجائیں۔
