Surah 16, ayah 95

  1. وَلَااور نہ
  2. تَشْتَرُوْاتم بیچو
  3. بِعَهْدِعہد کو
  4. اللّٰهِاللہ کے
  5. ثَمَنًاعوض قیمت کے
  6. قَلِیْلًا ؕتھوڑی
  7. اِنَّمَابیشک جو
  8. عِنْدَپاس ہے
  9. اللّٰهِاللہ کے
  10. هُوَوہ
  11. خَیْرٌبہتر ہے
  12. لَّكُمْتمہارے لیے
  13. اِنْاگر
  14. كُنْتُمْہو تم
  15. تَعْلَمُوْنَتم جانتے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اللہ کے عہد1 کو تھوڑے سے فائدے کے بدلے نہ بیچ ڈالو،2 جو کچھ اللہ کے پاس ہے وہ تمہارے لیے زیادہ بہتر ہے اگر تم جانو

  1. یعنی اُس عہد کو جو تم  نے  اللہ کے نام پر کیا ہو، یا دینِ الہٰی کے نمائندہ ہونے کی حیثیت سے کیا ہو۔

  2. یہ مطلب نہیں ہے کہ اسے بڑے فائدے  کے بدلے بیچ سکتے ہو۔ بلکہ مطلب یہ ہے کہ دنیا کا جو فائدہ بھی ہے وہ اللہ کے عہد  کی قیمت  میں تھوڑا ہے۔ اس لیے اس بیش بہا  چیز کو اس چھوٹی چیر کے عوض بیچنا بہر حال خسارے کا سودا ہے۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور اللہ کے اس عہد کو حقیر سی قیمت کے عوض فروخت نہ کرو یقیناً اللہ کے پاس جو کچھ ہے وہ بہت بہتر ہے تمہارے لیے اگر تم علم رکھتے ہو

Commentary

اِنَّمَا عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ هُوَ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُوْنَ تمہیں دنیا کے چھوٹے چھوٹے مفادات بہت عزیز ہیں اور ان حقیر مفادات کے لیے تم لوگ اللہ کی ہدایت کو ٹھکرا رہے ہو ‘ مگر تمہیں معلوم ہونا چاہیے کہ اگر تم لوگ اس ہدایت کو قبول کرلو گے تو اللہ کے ہاں اخروی انعامات سے نوازے جاؤ گے۔ اللہ کے ہاں جنت کی دائمی نعمتیں تمہارے ان مفادات کے مقابلے میں کہیں بہتر ہیں جن کے ساتھ تم لوگ آج چمٹے ہوئے ہو۔
