  1. وَمَاۤاور نہیں
  2. اَنْزَلْنَااتارا ہم نے
  3. عَلَیْكَآپ پر
  4. الْكِتٰبَکتاب کو
  5. اِلَّامگر
  6. لِتُبَیِّنَتاکہ آپ بیان کریں
  7. لَهُمُان کے لیے
  8. الَّذِیوہ چیز
  9. اخْتَلَفُوْاانہوں نے اختلاف کیا
  10. فِیْهِ ۙجس میں
  11. وَهُدًیاور ہدایت
  12. وَّرَحْمَةًاور رحمت
  13. لِّقَوْمٍاس قوم کے لیے
  14. یُّؤْمِنُوْنَجو ایمان رکھتی ہو

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

ہم نے یہ کتاب تم پر اس لیے نازل کی ہےکہ تم اُن اختلافات کی حقیقت اِن پر کھول دو جن میں یہ پڑے ہوئے ہیں۔ یہ کتاب رہنمائی اور رحمت بن کر اُتری ہے اُن لوگوں کے لیے جو اِسے مان لیں۔1

  1. دوسرے الفاظ میں ، اس کتاب کے نزول سے اِن لوگوں کو اس بات کا بہترین موقع ملا ہے کہ اوہام اور تقلیدی تخیلات کی بنا پر جن بے شمار مختلف مسلکوں اور مذہبوں میں یہ بٹ گئے ہیں اُن کے بجائے صداقت کی ایک بڑی پائیدار بنیاد پالیں جس پر یہ سب متفق ہو سکیں۔ اب جو لوگ اِتنے بے وقوف ہیں کہ اِس نعمت کے آجانے پر بھی اپنی پچھلی حالت ہی کو ترجیح دے رہے ہیں  وہ تباہی اور ذلت کے سوا اور کوئی انجام دیکھنے والے نہیں ہیں۔ اب تو سیدھا راستہ وہی پائے گا اور وہی برکتوں اور رحمتوں سے مالا مال ہو گا جو اس کتاب کو مان لے گا۔

اور نہیں اتاری (اے محمد !) ہم نے آپ پر یہ کتاب مگر اس لیے کہ آپ واضح کردیں ان کے لیے وہ سب کچھ جس میں انہوں نے اختلاف کیا اور یہ ہدایت اور رحمت ہے ان لوگوں کے لیے جو ایمان لانے والے ہیں

Commentary

وَهُدًى وَّرَحْمَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يُّؤْمِنُوْنَ اس آیت کو پڑھتے ہوئے سورة یونس کی یہ دو آیات بھی ذہن میں رکھیے : يٰٓاَيُّھَا النَّاسُ قَدْ جَاۗءَتْكُمْ مَّوْعِظَةٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ وَشِفَاۗءٌ لِّمَا فِي الصُّدُوْرِ ڏ وَهُدًى وَّرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ 57؀ قُلْ بِفَضْلِ اللّٰهِ وَبِرَحْمَتِهٖ فَبِذٰلِكَ فَلْيَفْرَحُوْا ۭ ھُوَ خَيْرٌ مِّمَّا يَجْمَعُوْنَ ”اے لوگو ! آگئی ہے تمہارے پاس نصیحت تمہارے رب کی طرف سے اور تمہارے سینوں کے جو روگ ہیں ان کی شفا اور ہدایت اور اہل ایمان کے حق میں بہت بڑی رحمت۔ اے نبی ! ان سے کہہ دیجیے کہ یہ قرآن اللہ کے فضل اور اس کی رحمت سے نازل ہوا ہے تو چاہیے کہ لوگ اس پر خوشیاں منائیں وہ بہتر ہے ان چیزوں سے جو وہ جمع کرتے ہیں۔“
