  1. وَلَوْاور اگر
  2. یُؤَاخِذُپکڑ لے
  3. اللّٰهُاللہ(مواخذہ کرے اللہ)
  4. النَّاسَلوگوں کو۔ کا
  5. بِظُلْمِهِمْان کے ظلم کی وجہ سے
  6. مَّانہ
  7. تَرَكَچھوڑے
  8. عَلَیْهَااس پر
  9. مِنْکوئی
  10. دَآبَّةٍجاندار۔ کوئی جانور
  11. وَّلٰكِنْلیکن
  12. یُّؤَخِّرُهُمْوہ مہلت دے رہا ہے ان کو
  13. اِلٰۤیتک
  14. اَجَلٍایک وقت
  15. مُّسَمًّی ۚمقرر تک
  16. فَاِذَاپھر جب
  17. جَآءَآجائے گا
  18. اَجَلُهُمْان کا وقت مقرر
  19. لَانہ
  20. یَسْتَاْخِرُوْنَتاخیر کرسکیں گے
  21. سَاعَةًایک گھڑی
  22. وَّلَااور نہ
  23. یَسْتَقْدِمُوْنَآگے بڑھ سکیں گے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اگر کہیں اللہ لوگوں کو اُن کی زیادتی پر فوراً ہی پکڑ لیا کر تا تو روئے زمین پر کسی متنفس کو نہ چھوڑتا لیکن وہ سب کو ایک وقت مقرر تک مہلت دیتا ہے، پھر جب وہ وقت آ جاتا ہے تو اس سے کوئی ایک گھڑی بھر بھی آگے پیچھے نہیں ہو سکتا

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور اگر اللہ (فوراً) پکڑ کرتا لوگوں کی ان کے گناہوں کے سبب تو نہ چھوڑتا اس (زمین) پر کوئی بھی جاندار لیکن وہ مہلت دیتا ہے انہیں ایک وقت معین تک پھر جب ان کا وقت معین آجائے گا تو نہ وہ اس سے ایک ساعت پیچھے ہٹ سکیں گے اور نہ آگے بڑھ سکیں گے

Commentary

آیت 61 وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ اللّٰهُ النَّاسَ بِظُلْمِهِمْ مَّا تَرَكَ عَلَيْهَا مِنْ دَاۗبَّةٍ وَّلٰكِنْ يُّؤَخِّرُهُمْ اِلٰٓى اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّىیہ اللہ کی خاص رحمت ہے کہ وہ لوگوں کے ظلم و معصیت کی پاداش میں فوری طور پر ان کی گرفت نہیں کرتا بلکہ ڈھیل دے کر انہیں اصلاح کا پورا پورا موقع دیتا ہے۔
