- وَاَقْسَمُوْااور وہ قسمیں کھاتے ہیں
- بِاللّٰهِاللہ کی
- جَهْدَپکی
- اَیْمَانِهِمْ ۙقسمیں اپنی
- لَانہیں
- یَبْعَثُاٹھائے گا
- اللّٰهُاللہ
- مَنْ(اسے) جو
- یَّمُوْتُ ؕمرجاتا ہے
- بَلٰیکیوں نہیں
- وَعْدًاوعدہ ہے
- عَلَیْهِاس کے ذمہ
- حَقًّاسچا
- وَّلٰكِنَّلیکن
- اَكْثَرَاکثر
- النَّاسِلوگ

اور وہ اللہ کی قسمیں کھا کر کہتے ہیں اپنی پکی قسمیں کہ اللہ ہرگز نہیں اٹھائے گا اس کو جو مرجائے گا کیوں نہیں یہ وعدہ ہے اس کے ذمہ سچا (کہ تم ضرور اٹھائے جاؤ گے) لیکن اکثر لوگ علم نہیں رکھتے

Commentary
آیت 38 وَاَقْسَمُوْا باللّٰهِ جَهْدَ اَيْمَانِهِمْ ۙ لَا يَبْعَثُ اللّٰهُ مَنْ يَّمُوْتُ مشرکین مکہ اگرچہ عمومی طور پر مرنے کے بعد دوسری زندگی کے قائل تھے مگر ان کا اس سلسلہ میں عقیدہ یہ تھا کہ جن بتوں کی وہ پوجا کرتے ہیں وہ قیامت کے دن اللہ کے سامنے ان کے سفارشی ہوں گے اور اس طرح روز حشر کی تمام سختیوں سے وہ انہیں بچا لیں گے۔ لیکن ان کے ہاں ایک طبقہ ایسا بھی تھا جو بعث بعد الموت کا منکر تھا۔ ان لوگوں کے اس عقیدہ کا تذکرہ قرآن میں متعدد بار ہوا ہے۔ سورة الانعام میں ان لوگوں کا قول اس طرح نقل کیا گیا ہے : وَقَالُوْٓا اِنْ هِىَ اِلَّا حَيَاتُنَا الدُّنْيَا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَبْعُوْثِيْنَ ”اور وہ کہتے ہیں کہ نہیں ہے یہ ہماری زندگی مگر صرف دنیا کی اور ہم دوبارہ اٹھائے نہیں جائیں گے۔“
