  1. هَلْنہیں
  2. یَنْظُرُوْنَوہ انتظار کر رہے
  3. اِلَّاۤمگر
  4. اَنْیہ کہ
  5. تَاْتِیَهُمُآجائیں ان کے پاس
  6. الْمَلٰٓىِٕكَةُفرشتے
  7. اَوْیا
  8. یَاْتِیَآجائے
  9. اَمْرُفیصلہ
  10. رَبِّكَ ؕتیرے رب کا
  11. كَذٰلِكَاسی طرح
  12. فَعَلَکیا
  13. الَّذِیْنَان لوگوں نے
  14. مِنْسے
  15. قَبْلِهِمْ ؕجو ان سے پہلے تھے
  16. وَمَااور نہیں
  17. ظَلَمَهُمُظلم کیا تھا ان پر
  18. اللّٰهُاللہ نے
  19. وَلٰكِنْلیکن
  20. كَانُوْۤاتھے وہ
  21. اَنْفُسَهُمْاپنی جانوں پر
  22. یَظْلِمُوْنَظلم کرتے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اے محمد ؐ ، اب جو یہ لوگ انتظار کر رہے ہیں تو اِس کے سوا اب اور کیا باقی رہ گیا ہے کہ ملائکہ ہی آپہنچیں ، یا تیرے ربّ کا فیصلہ صادر ہو جائے؟1 اِس طرح ڈِھٹائی اِن سے پہلے بہت سے لوگ کر چکے ہیں۔ پھر جو کچھ اُن کے ساتھ ہوا وہ اُن پر اللہ کا ظلم نہ تھا بلکہ اُن کا اپنا ظلم تھا جو اُنہوں نے خود اپنے اُوپر کیا

  1. یہ چند کلمے بطور ِ نصیحت اور تنبیہ کے فرمائے جا رہے ہیں۔ مطلب یہ ہے کہ  جہاں  تک سمجھانے کا تعلق تھا ، تم نے ایک ایک حقیقت پوری طرح کھول کر سمجھا دی۔ دلائل سے اس کا ثبوت دے دیا ۔ کائنات کے پورے نظام سے اس کی شہادتیں پیش کردیں ۔ کسی ذی فہم آدمی کے  لیے شرک پر جمے رہنے کی کوئی گنجائش باقی نہیں چھوڑی۔ اب یہ لوگ ایک صاف سیدھی بات کو مان لینے میں کیوں تامُل  کر رہے ہیں؟ کیا اس کا انتظار کر رہے ہیں کہ موت کا فرشتہ سامنے آکھڑا ہو تو زندگی کے آخری لمحے میں مانیں گے؟ یا خدا کا عذاب سر پر آجائے تو اس کی پہلی چوٹ کھا لینے کے بعد مانیں گے؟

Bayan-ul-Quran

اب یہ لوگ کس شے کے منتظر ہیں سوائے اس کے کہ آ دھمکیں ان پر فرشتے یا آجائے فیصلہ آپ کے رب کا یہی روش اختیار کی تھی انہوں نے بھی جو ان سے پہلے تھے۔ اور اللہ نے ان پر ظلم نہیں کیا بلکہ وہ خود اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرتے رہے

آیت 33 هَلْ يَنْظُرُوْنَ اِلَّآ اَنْ تَاْتِيَهُمُ الْمَلٰۗىِٕكَةُ اَوْ يَاْتِيَ اَمْرُ رَبِّكَ گزشتہ بارہ برس سے رسول اللہ قریش مکہ کو دعوت دے رہے ہیں ‘ دو تہائی کے قریب قرآن بھی اب تک نازل ہوچکا ہے۔ چناچہ ان لوگوں کو اب مزید کس چیز کا انتظار ہے ؟ اب تو بس یہی مرحلہ باقی رہ گیا ہے کہ فرشتے اللہ کا فیصلہ لے کر پہنچ جائیں اور وہ نقشہ سامنے آجائے جس کی جھلک سورة الفجر میں اس طرح دکھائی گئی ہے : وَجَآءَ رَبُّکَ وَالْمَلَکُ صَفًّا صَفًّا وَجِایْٓءَ یَوْمَءِذٍم بِجَہَنَّمَلا یَوْمَءِذٍ یَّتَذَکَّرُ الْاِنْسَانُ وَاَنّٰی لَہُ الذِّکْرٰی ”اور آئے گا آپ کا رب اور فرشتے صف بہ صف۔ اور لائی جائے گی اس دن جہنم اس دن ہوش آئے گا انسان کو مگر کیا فائدہ ہوگا تب اسے اس ہوش کا !“ كَذٰلِكَ فَعَلَ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۭ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللّٰهُ وَلٰكِنْ كَانُوْٓا اَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُوْنَ جن گزشتہ اقوام کے عبرت ناک انجام کے بارے میں تفصیلات قرآن میں بتائی جا رہی ہیں انہیں ان کے اپنے کرتوتوں کی سزا ملی تھی۔ اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے ان پر قطعاً ظلم نہیں ہوا تھا۔
