  13. الْقِیٰمَةِقیامت کے
  14. فِیْمَااس میں جو
  15. كَانُوْاتھے وہ
  16. فِیْهِجس میں
  17. یَخْتَلِفُوْنَوہ اختلاف کرتے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

رہا سَبت، تو وہ ہم نے اُن لوگوں پر مسلّط کیا تھا جنہوں نے اس کے احکام میں اختلاف کیا،1 اور یقیناً تیرا ربّ قیامت کے روز ان سب باتوں کا فیصلہ کر دے گا جن میں وہ اختلاف کرتے رہے ہیں

  1. یہ کفارِ مکّہ کے دوسرے اعتراض کا جواب ہے۔ اس میں یہ بیان کرنے کی حاجت  نہ تھی کہ سَبت بھی یہودیوں کے لیے مخصوص تھا اور مِلّتِ ابراہیمی  میں حرمتِ سبت کا کوئی وجود نہ تھا ، کیونکہ اس بات کو خود کفار مکہ بھی جانتے تھے  ۔ اس لیے صرف اتنا ہی اشارہ کر نے پر اکتفا کیا گیا کہ یہودیوں کے ہاں سبت کے قانون میں جو سختیاں تم پاتے ہو یہ ابتدائی حکم میں نہ تھیں بلکہ یہ بعد میں یہودیوں کی شرارتوں اور احکام کی خلاف ورزیوں کی  وجہ سے ان پر عائد کی گئی تھیں ۔ قرآن مجید کے اس اشارے کو آدمی اچھی طرح نہیں سمجھ سکتا جب تک کہ وہ ایک طرف بائیبل کے اُن مقامات کو نہ دیکھے جہاں سبت کے احکام بیان ہوئے ہیں (مثلاً ملاحظہ ہو  خروج باب 2۰، آیت 8 تا 11۔ باب 23، آیت 12 و 13۔ باب 31، آیت 12 تا 17۔ باب 35، آیت 2 و 3۔ گنتی باب 15، آیت 32 تا 3۶)، اور دوسری طرف اُن جسارتوں  سے واقف   نہ ہو جو یہودی سبت کی حرمت کو توڑنے میں ظاہر کرتے  رہے(مثلًا ملاحظہ ہو یر میاہ باب 17، آیت 21 تا 27۔ حِزقِی ایل ، باب 2۰، آیت 12 تا 24)۔

ہفتہ کا دن تو انہی لوگوں کے لیے معین کیا گیا تھا جنہوں نے اس میں اختلاف کیا تھا اور یقیناً آپ کا رب ان کے مابین فیصلہ کرے گا قیامت کے دن ان چیزوں میں جن میں وہ اختلاف کرتے تھے

Commentary

آیت 124 اِنَّمَا جُعِلَ السَّبْتُ عَلَي الَّذِيْنَ اخْتَلَفُوْا فِيْهِ دراصل بنی اسرائیل کے لیے اللہ تعالیٰ نے عبادت کے لیے جمعہ کا دن ہی مقرر فرمایا تھا مگر انہوں نے اپنی شرارت کی وجہ سے اس کی ناقدری کی اور اسے چھوڑ کر ہفتہ کا دن اختیار کرلیا۔ چناچہ بعد میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کے لیے اس حیثیت میں ہفتہ کا دن ہی مقرر کردیا۔
