Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور ہر شیطانِ مردُود سے اُن کو محفوظ کر دیا۔1

  1. یعنی جس طرح زمین کی دوسری مخلوقات زمین کے خطّے میں مقید ہیں اُسی طرح شیاطینِ جِنّ بھی اِسی خطّے میں مقید ہیں، عالم ِ بالا تک اُن کی رسائی نہیں ہے۔ اِس سے دراصل لوگوں کی اُس عام غلط فہمی کو دور کرنا مقصود ہے جس میں پہلے بھی عوام الناس مبتلا تھے اور آج بھی ہیں۔ وہ سمجھتے ہیں کہ شیطان اور اس کی ذریّت کے لیے ساری کائنات کھلی پڑی ہے ، جہاں تک وہ چاہیں پرواز کر سکتے ہیں۔ قرآن  اس کے جواب میں بتاتا ہے کہ شیاطین ایک خاص حد سے آگے نہیں جا سکتے، انہیں غیر محدود پرواز کی طاقت ہر گز نہیں دی گئی ہے۔
