Surah 14, ayah 8

  1. وَقَالَاور کہا
  2. مُوْسٰۤیموسیٰ نے
  3. اِنْاگر تم
  4. تَكْفُرُوْۤاکفر کرو
  5. اَنْتُمْتم
  6. وَمَنْاور جو کوئی
  7. فِیمیں ہے
  8. الْاَرْضِزمین
  9. جَمِیْعًا ۙسارے کے سارے
  10. فَاِنَّتو بیشک
  11. اللّٰهَاللہ تعالیٰ
  12. لَغَنِیٌّالبتہ بےنیاز،
  13. حَمِیْدٌتعریف والا ہے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور موسیٰؑ ”اگر تم کُفر کرو اور زمین کے سارے رہنے والے بھی کافر ہو جائیں تو اللہ بے نیاز اور اپنی ذات میں آپ محمود ہے۔1“

  1. اس جگہ حضرت موسیٰ  اور اُن کی قوم کے معاملہ کی طرف یہ مختصر اشارہ کرنے سے مقصود اہلِ مکہ کو یہ بتانا ہے کہ اللہ جب کسی قوم پراحسان کرتا ہے اور جواب میں وہ قوم نمک حرامی اور سرکشی دکھاتی ہے تو پھر  ایسی قوم کو وہ عبرتناک انجام دیکھنا پڑتا ہے جو تمہاری آنکھوں کے سامنے بنی اسرائیل دیکھ رہے ہیں ۔ا ب کیا تم بھی خدا کی نعمت اور اس کے احسان کا جواب کفر انِ نعمت سے دے کر یہی انجام دیکھنا چاہتے ہو؟ یہاں یہ بات واضح رہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی جس نعمت کی قدر کر نے کا یہاں قریش سے مطالبہ فرما رہا ہے وہ خصُوصیت کے ساتھ اُس کی یہ نعمت  ہے کہ اُس نے محمد عربی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اُن کے درمیان پیدا کیا اور آپ کے ذریعہ سے اُن کے پاس وہ عظیم الشان تعلیم بھیجی جس کے متعلق حضور ؐ بار بار قریش  سے فرمایا کرتے تھے کہ کلمۃ واحدۃ تعطو نیھا  تملکون بھا العرب و تدین لکم بھا العجم “۔ میر ی ایک بات مان لو، عرب  اور عجم سب تمہارے تابع ہوجائیں گے“۔

اور موسیٰ نے کہا کہ اگر تم کفر کرو اور جو بھی لوگ زمین میں ہیں وہ (سب کے سب کافر ہوجائیں) تو یقیناً اللہ غنی اور اپنی ذات میں خود محمود ہے

Commentary

آیت 8 وَقَالَ مُوْسٰٓى اِنْ تَكْفُرُوْٓا اَنْتُمْ وَمَنْ فِي الْاَرْضِ جَمِيْعًا ۙ فَاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَغَنِيٌّ حَمِيْدٌوہ بےنیاز ہے اس کو کسی کی احتیاج یا پروا نہیں۔ وہ اپنی ذات میں ستودہ صفات ہے۔
