  1. یَّتَجَرَّعُهٗگھونٹ گھونٹ پئے گا اس کو
  2. وَلَااور نہیں
  3. یَكَادُقریب
  4. یُسِیْغُهٗکہ نگل سکے اس کو
  5. وَیَاْتِیْهِاور آئے گی اس کے پاس
  6. الْمَوْتُموت
  7. مِنْسے
  8. كُلِّہر
  9. مَكَانٍجگہ
  10. وَّمَااور نہیں ہوگا
  11. هُوَوہ
  12. بِمَیِّتٍ ؕمرنے والا
  13. وَمِنْاور سے
  14. وَّرَآىِٕهٖاس کے آگے
  15. عَذَابٌعذاب ہے

Tafheem-ul-Quran

جسے وہ زبردستی حلق سے اتارنے کی کوشش کرے گا اور مشکل ہی سے اتار سکے گا موت ہر طرف سے اس پر چھائی رہے گی مگر وہ مرنے نہ پائے گا اور آگے ایک سخت عذاب اس کی جان کا لاگو رہے گا

Bayan-ul-Quran

وہ اس کو گھونٹ گھونٹ پینے کی کوشش کرے گا لیکن اسے حلق سے اتار نہیں پائے گا اور اسے ہر طرف سے موت (آتی ہوئی نظر) آئے گی لیکن مر نہیں سکے گا اور اس کے بعد اس کے لیے ایک اور سخت عذاب ہوگا

Commentary

وَيَاْتِيْهِ الْمَوْتُ مِنْ كُلِّ مَكَانٍ وَّمَا هُوَ بِمَيِّتٍ شدید تکلیف میں موت انسان کو راحت پہنچا دیتی ہے۔ بعض بیمار ایسے ہوتے ہیں کہ تکلیف کی شدت میں ایڑیاں رگڑ رہے ہوتے ہیں اور موت ان کے لیے راحت کا سامان بن جاتی ہے۔ لیکن جہنم ایسی جگہ ہے کہ جہاں انسان کو موت نہیں آئے گی۔ سورة طٰہٰ میں اس کیفیت کو ان الفاظ میں بیان کیا گیا ہے : لَا یَمُوْتُ فِیْہَا وَلَا یَحْیٰی ”نہ وہ اس میں مرے گا اور نہ جی پائے گا“۔ اہل جہنم شدید خواہش کریں گے کہ موت آجائے اور ان کا قصہ تمام ہوجائے مگر ان کی یہ خواہش پوری نہیں ہوگی۔وَمِنْ وَّرَاۗىِٕهٖ عَذَابٌ غَلِيْظٌیعنی اس سختی میں مسلسل اضافہ ہوتا جائے گا عذاب کی شدت درجہ بدرجہ بڑھتی ہی چلی جائے گی۔
