اور زمین میں قطعات ہیں ایک دوسرے سے متصل اور باغات انگوروں کے اور کھیتیاں اور کھجور کے درخت جڑوں سے ملے ہوئے بھی اور الگ الگ بھی انہیں ایک ہی پانی سے سیراب کیا جاتا ہے (اس کے باوجود) ہم کسی کو کسی پر فضیلت دے دیتے ہیں ذائقے میں یقیناً اس میں نشانیاں ہیں عقل والوں کے لیے

Commentary
وَنُفَضِّلُ بَعْضَهَا عَلٰي بَعْضٍ فِي الْاُكُلِ ایک ہی زمین میں ایک ہی جڑ سے کھجور کے دو درخت اگتے ہیں ‘ دونوں کو ایک ہی پانی سے سیراب کیا جاتا ہے لیکن دونوں کے پھلوں کا اپنا اپنا ذائقہ ہوتا ہے۔ اِنَّ فِيْ ذٰلِكَ لَاٰيٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَّعْقِلُوْنَ یہ التذکیر بالآء اللّٰہ کا انداز ہے جس میں بار بار اللہ کی قدرتوں نشانیوں اور نعمتوں کی طرف توجہ دلائی جاتی ہے۔
