Surah 13, ayah 36

  1. وَالَّذِیْنَاور وہ لوگ
  2. اٰتَیْنٰهُمُدی ہم نے ان کو
  3. الْكِتٰبَکتاب
  4. یَفْرَحُوْنَوہ خوش ہوتے ہیں
  5. بِمَاۤساتھ اس کے
  6. اُنْزِلَجو نازل کیا گیا
  7. اِلَیْكَآپ کی طرف
  8. وَمِنَمیں سے
  9. الْاَحْزَابِاور گروہوں
  10. مَنْکوئی ہے
  11. یُّنْكِرُجو انکار کرتا ہے
  12. بَعْضَهٗ ؕاس کے بعض حصے کا
  13. قُلْکہہ دیجئے
  14. اِنَّمَاۤبیشک
  15. اُمِرْتُمجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے
  16. اَنْکہ
  17. اَعْبُدَمیں عبادت کروں
  18. اللّٰهَاللہ کی
  19. وَلَاۤاور نہ
  20. اُشْرِكَشریک ٹھہراؤں
  21. بِهٖ ؕساتھ اس کے
  22. اِلَیْهِاسی کی طرف
  23. اَدْعُوْامیں بلاتا ہوں
  24. وَاِلَیْهِاور اسی کی طرف
  25. مَاٰبِمیرا لوٹنا ہے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اے نبی ؐ ، جن لوگوں کو ہم نے پہلے کتاب دی تھی وہ اِس کتاب سے جو ہم نے تم پر نازل کی ہے ، خوش ہیں اور مختلف گروہوں میں کچھ لوگ ایسے بھی ہیں جو اس کی بعض باتوں کو نہیں مانتے۔ تم صاف کہہ دو کہ”مجھے تو صرف اللہ کی بندگی کا حکم دیا گیا ہے اور اس سے منع کیا گیا ہے کہ کسی کو اس کے ساتھ شریک ٹھہراوٴں۔ لہٰذا میں اسی کی طرف دعوت دیتا ہوں اور اسی کی طرف میرا رجُوع ہے1۔“

  1. یہ ایک خاص بات کا جواب ہے جو اُس وقت  مخالفین کی طرف سے کہی جا رہی تھی۔ وہ کہتے تھے کہ اگر صاحب واقعی وہی تعلیم لے کر آئے ہیں جو پچھلے انبیاء لائے تھے  جیسا کہ اِن کا دعویٰ ہے ، تو آخر کیا بات ہے کہ یہود و نصاریٰ ، جو پچھلے انبیاء کے پیرو ہیں ، آگے بڑھ کر اِن کا استقبال نہیں کرتے۔ اِس پر فرمایا جارہا ہے کہ اُن میں سے بعض لوگ اِ س پر خوش ہیں  اور بعض ناراض، مگر اے نبی، خواہ کوئی خوش ہو یا ناراض،  تم صاف کہہ دو کہ مجھے تو خدا کی طرف سے یہ تعلیم دی گئی ہے  اور میں بہر حال اِسی کی پیروی کروں گا۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

اور جن لوگوں کو ہم نے کتاب دی تھی وہ خوش ہور ہے ہیں اس (قرآن) سے جو (اے نبی !) آپ کی طرف نازل کیا گیا ہے اور بعض گروہوں میں سے کچھ ایسے بھی ہیں جو اس کے بعض حصوں کا انکار کرتے ہیں آپ کہیے کہ مجھے تو حکم ہوا ہے کہ میں اللہ کی بندگی کروں اور اس کے ساتھ شرک نہ کروں اسی کی طرف میں بلا رہا ہوں اور اسی کی طرف میرا لوٹنا ہے

Commentary

آیت 36 وَالَّذِيْنَ اٰتَيْنٰهُمُ الْكِتٰبَ يَفْرَحُوْنَ بِمَآ اُنْزِلَ اِلَيْكَ یہ مدینہ کے اہل کتاب میں سے نیک سرشت لوگوں کا ذکر ہے۔ ان کو جب خبریں ملتی تھیں کہ مکہ میں آخری نبی کا ظہور ہوچکا ہے تو وہ ان خبروں سے خوش ہوتے تھے۔
