  1. كَذٰلِكَاسی طرح
  2. اَرْسَلْنٰكَبھیجا ہم نے آپ کو
  3. فِیْۤمیں
  4. اُمَّةٍایک قوم (میں)
  5. قَدْتحقیق
  6. خَلَتْگزر چکیں
  7. مِنْاس سے
  8. قَبْلِهَاۤپہلے
  9. اُمَمٌکئی امتیں
  10. لِّتَتْلُوَاۡتاکہ تم پڑھو
  11. عَلَیْهِمُان پر
  12. الَّذِیْۤوہ چیز
  13. اَوْحَیْنَاۤوحی کی ہم نے
  14. اِلَیْكَآپ کی طرف
  15. وَهُمْاور وہ
  16. یَكْفُرُوْنَکفر کرتے ہیں
  17. بِالرَّحْمٰنِ ؕرحمن کا
  18. قُلْکہہ دیجئے
  19. هُوَوہ
  20. رَبِّیْمیرا رب ہے
  21. لَاۤنہیں
  22. اِلٰهَکوئی الٰہ برحق
  23. اِلَّامگر
  24. هُوَ ۚوہی
  25. عَلَیْهِاس پر
  26. تَوَكَّلْتُمیں نے بھروسہ کیا
  27. وَاِلَیْهِاور اسی کی طرف
  28. مَتَابِمیرا لوٹنا ہے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اے محمد ؐ ، اِسی شان سے ہم نے تم کو رسُول بنا کر بھیجا ہے1، ایک ایسی قوم میں جس سے پہلے بہت سی قومیں گزر چکی ہیں، تا کہ تم اِن لوگوں کو وہ پیغام سُناوٴ جو ہم نے تم پر نازل کیا ہے، اِس حال میں کہ یہ اپنے نہایت مہربان خدا کے کافر بنے ہوئے ہیں۔2 اِن سےکہو کہ وہی میرا ربّ ہے ، اُس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں،اُسی پر میں نے بھروسہ کیا اور وہی میرا ملجا و ماویٰ ہے

  1. یعنی کسی ایسی نشانی کے بغیر جس کا یہ لوگ مطالبہ کرتے ہیں۔

  2. یعنی اُس کی بندگی سے منہ موڑے ہوئے ہیں ، اس کی صفات اور اختیارات اور حقوق میں دوسروں کو اُس کا شریک بنا رہے ہیں، اور اُس کی نعمتوں  کے شکریے دوسروں کو ادا کر رہے ہیں۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

(اے نبی !) اسی طرح ہم نے آپ کو بھیجا ہے ایک ایسی امت میں جس سے پہلے بہت سی امتیں گزر چکی ہیں تاکہ آپ تلاوت کر کے سنائیں ان لوگوں کو وہ (کتاب) جو ہم نے وحی کی ہے آپ کی طرف درآں حالیکہ یہ لوگ رحمٰن کا انکار کر رہے ہیں کہہ دیجیے کہ وہ میرا رب ہے اس کے سوا اور کوئی معبود نہیں اسی پر میں نے بھروسا کیا ہے اور اسی کی طرف میرا لوٹنا ہے

Commentary

آیت 30 كَذٰلِكَ اَرْسَلْنٰكَ فِيْٓ اُمَّةٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهَآ اُمَمٌ لِّتَتْلُوَا۟ عَلَيْهِمُ الَّذِيْٓ اَوْحَيْنَآ اِلَيْكَ وَهُمْ يَكْفُرُوْنَ بالرَّحْمٰنِ اگرچہ اللہ تعالیٰ کا نام ”الرحمن“ عرب میں پہلے سے متعارف تھا مگر مشرکین مکہ ”اللہ“ ہی کو جانتے اور مانتے تھے اس لیے وہ اس نام سے بدکتے تھے اور عجیب انداز میں پوچھتے تھے کہ یہ رحمن کون ہے ؟ الفرقان : 60
