Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور اُن سے کہیں گے کہ ”تم پر سلامتی ہے،1 تم نے دُنیا میں جس طرح صبر سے کام لیا اُس کی بدولت آج تم اِ س کے مستحق ہوئے ہو“۔۔۔۔پس کیا ہی خوب ہے یہ آخرت کا گھر!

  1. اس کا مطلب صرف یہ نہیں ہےکہ ملائکہ ہر طرف سے آ آ کر ان کو سلام کریں گے، بلکہ یہ بھی ہے کہ ملائکہ ان کو اس بات کی خوشخبری دیں گے کہ اب تم ایسی جگہ آگئے ہو جہاں تمہارے لیے سلامتی ہی سلامتی ہے۔ اب یہاں تم ہر آفت سے، ہر تکلیف سے ہر مشقت سے ، اور ہر خطرے سے اور اندیشے سے محفوظ ہو۔ (مزید تفصیل کے لیے ملاحظہ ہو سورۂ حِجر ، حاشیہ نمبر 29)۔

(اور کہیں گے) سلامتی ہو آپ پر بسبب اس کے جو آپ لوگوں نے صبر کیا تو کیا ہی اچھا ہے یہ آخرت کا گھر

Commentary

آیت 24 سَلٰمٌ عَلَيْكُمْ بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ جنت میں اپنے آباء و اَجداد اور اہل و عیال میں سے صالح لوگوں کی معیت گویا اللہ کی طرف سے اپنے نیک بندوں کے لیے ایک اعزاز ہوگا اور اس کے لیے اگر ضرورت ہوئی تو ان کے ان رشتہ داروں کے درجات بھی بڑھا دیے جائیں گے۔ مگر یہاں یہ نکتہ بہت اہم ہے کہ اہل جنت کے جو قرابت دار کفار اور مشرکین تھے ان کے لیے رعایت کی کوئی گنجائش نہیں ہوگی بلکہ اس رعایت سے صرف وہ اہل ایمان مستفیض ہوں گے جو ”صالحین“ کی baseline پر پہنچ چکے ہوں گے۔ یعنی سورة النساء ‘ آیت 69 میں جو مدارج بیان ہوئے ہیں ان کے اعتبار سے جو مسلمان کم سے کم درجے کی جنت میں داخلے کا مستحق ہوچکا ہوگا اس کے مدارج اس کے کسی قرابت دار کی وجہ سے بڑھا دیے جائیں گے جو جنت میں اعلیٰ مراتب پر فائز ہوگا۔ مثلاً ایک شخص کو جنت میں بہت اعلیٰ مرتبہ عطا ہوا ہے اب اس کا باپ ایک صالح مسلمان کی baseline پر پہنچ کر جنت میں داخل ہونے کا مستحق تو ہوچکا ہے مگر جنت میں اس کا درجہ بہت نیچے ہے تو ایسے شخص کے مراتب بڑھا کر اسے اپنے بیٹے کے ساتھ اعلیٰ درجے کی جنت میں پہنچا دیاجائے گا۔
