  1. وَلِلّٰهِاور اللہ ہی کے لئے
  2. یَسْجُدُسجدہ کرتے ہیں
  3. مَنْجو
  4. فِیمیں ہیں
  5. السَّمٰوٰتِآسمانوں
  6. وَالْاَرْضِاور زمین میں
  7. طَوْعًاخوشی سے
  8. وَّكَرْهًااور ناخوشی سے
  9. وَّظِلٰلُهُمْاور سائے ان کے
  10. بِالْغُدُوِّصبح کے وقت
  11. وَالْاٰصَالِاور شام کے وقت

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

وہ تو اللہ ہی ہے جس کو زمین و آسمان کی ہر چیز طوعًا و کرہًا سجدہ کر رہی ہے1 اور سب چیزوں کے سائے صبح و شام اُس کے آگے جُھکتے ہیں۔2

  1. سجدے سے مراد اطاعت میں جھکنا ، حکم بجا لانا اور سرِ تسلیم خم کرنا ہے۔ زمین و آسمان کی ہر مخلوق اِس معنی میں اللہ کو سجدہ کر رہے ہے کہ وہ اس کے قانون کی مطیع ہے اور اس کی  مشیت سے بال برابر بھی سرتابی نہیں کر سکتی ۔ مومن اس کے آگے برضا و رغبت جھکتا ہے تو کافر کو مجبورًا جھکنا پڑتا ہے، کیونکہ خدا کے قانون فطرت سے ہٹنا اُس کی مقدرت سے باہر ہے۔

  2. سایوں کے سجدہ کرنے سے مراد یہ ہے کہ اشیاء کے سایوں کا صبح و شام مغرب اور مشرق کی طرف  گرنا اس بات کی علامت ہے کہ یہ سب چیزیں کسی کے امر کی مطیع اور کسی کے  قانون سے مسخر ہیں۔
