Tafheem-ul-Quran
ا۔ل۔م۔ر، یہ کتاب الہٰی کی آیات ہیں، اور جو کچھ تمہارے ربّ کی طرف سے تم پر نازل کیا گیا ہے وہ عین حق ہے، مگر (تمہاری قوم کے)اکثر لوگ مان نہیں رہے ہیں۔1

یہ اس سورے کی تمہید ہے جس میں مقصودِ کلام کو چند لفظوں میں بیان کر دیا گیا ہے۔ روئے سخن نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی طرف ہے اور آپ کو خطاب کرتے ہوئے اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے کہ اے نبی، تمہاری قوم کے اکثر لوگ اس تعلیم کو قبول کرنے سے انکار کر رہے ہیں، مگر واقعہ یہ ہے کہ اِسے ہم نے تم پر نازل کیا ہے اور یہی حق ہے خواہ لوگ اسے مانیں یا نہ مانیں۔ اس مختصر سی تمہید کے بعد اصل تقریر شروع ہوجاتی ہے جس میں منکرین کو یہ سمجھانے کی کوشش کی گئی ہے کہ یہ تعلیم کیوں حق ہے اور اس کے بارے میں اُ ن کا رویہ کس قدر غلط ہے۔ اس تقریر کو سمجھنے کے لیے ابتدا ہی سے یہ پیشِ نظر رہنا ضروری ہے کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اُس وقت جس چیز کی طرف لوگوں کو دعوت دے رہے تھے وہ تین بنیادی باتوں پر مشتمل تھی۔ ایک یہ کہ خدائی پوری کی پوری اللہ کی ہے اس لیے اس کے سواکوئی بندگی و عبادت کا مستحق نہیں ہے۔ دوسرے یہ کہ اِس زندگی کے بعد ایک دوسری زندگی ہے جس میں تم کو اپنے اعمال کی جوابدہی کرنی ہوگی۔ تیسرے یہ کہ میں اللہ کا رسول ہوں اور جو کچھ پیش کر رہا ہوں اپنی طرف سے نہیں بلکہ خدا کی طرف سے پیش کر رہاہوں۔ یہی تین باتیں ہیں جنہیں ماننے سے لوگ انکار کر رہے تھے، اِنہی کو اس تقریر میں بار بار طریقے طرقے سے سمجھانے کی کوشش کی گئی ہے اور انہی کے متعلق لوگوں کے شبہات و اعتراضات کو رفع کیا گیا ہے۔

Commentary (one passage for ayahs 12:111, 13:1)
مَا كَانَ حَدِيْثًا يُّفْتَرٰى وَلٰكِنْ تَصْدِيْقَ الَّذِيْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ یعنی یہ واقعات تورات میں بھی ہیں اور قرآن انہی واقعات کی تصدیق کررہا ہے۔ حضرت یوسف کے قصے کے سلسلے میں مولانا ابوالاعلیٰ مودودی نے بہت عمدگی کے ساتھ تورات اور قرآن کا تقابلی مطالعہ پیش کیا ہے ‘ جس کا خلاصہ یہ ہے کہ قرآن کے حسن بیان اور اس کے حکیمانہ انداز کا معیار اس قدر بلند ہے کہ تورات میں اس کا عشر عشیر بھی نہیں ہے۔ اس کی وجہ یہ ہے کہ اصل تورات تو گم ہوگئی تھی۔ بعد میں حافظے کی مدد سے جو تحریریں مرتب کی گئیں ان میں ظاہر ہے وہ معیار تو پیدا نہیں ہوسکتا تھا جو اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف سے نازل شدہ تورات میں تھا۔وَتَفْصِيْلَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَّهُدًى وَّرَحْمَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يُّؤْمِنُوْنَ یعنی وہ علم جو اس دنیا میں انسان کے لیے ضروری ہے اور وہ راہنمائی جو دنیوی زندگی میں اسے درکار ہے سب کچھ اس قرآن میں موجود ہے۔
