اور کہا اس شخص نے جو ان دونوں (قیدیوں) میں سے نجات پا گیا تھا اور ایک طویل عرصے کے بعد اسے (اچانک) یاد آگیا (اس نے کہا) میں بتادوں گا تم لوگوں کو اس کی تعبیر بس مجھے ذرا (قید خانے میں یوسف کے پاس) بھیج دیں

آیت 45 وَقَالَ الَّذِيْ نَجَا مِنْهُمَا وَادَّكَرَ بَعْدَ اُمَّةٍ وہ شخص جیل سے رہا ہو کر پھر سے ساقی گری کر رہا تھا۔ اسے بادشاہ کے خواب کے ذکر سے اچانک حضرت یوسف یاد آگئے کہ ہاں جیل میں ایک شخص ہے جو خوابوں کی تعبیر بتانے میں بڑا ماہر ہے۔اَنَا اُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِتَاْوِيْـلِهٖ فَاَرْسِلُوْنِ اس طرح وہ شخص جیل میں حضرت یوسف کے پاس پہنچ کر آپ سے مخاطب ہوا :
