Surah 12, ayah 18

  1. وَجَآءُوْاور وہ لائے تھے
  2. عَلٰیپر
  3. قَمِیْصِهٖاس کی قمیص
  4. بِدَمٍخون
  5. كَذِبٍ ؕجھوٹا
  6. قَالَکہا
  7. بَلْبلکہ
  8. سَوَّلَتْآسان کردیا
  9. لَكُمْتمہارے لیے
  10. اَنْفُسُكُمْتمہارے نفسوں نے
  11. اَمْرًا ؕایک کام کو
  12. فَصَبْرٌتو صبر ہی
  13. جَمِیْلٌ ؕاچھا ہے
  14. وَاللّٰهُاور اللہ ہی ہے
  15. الْمُسْتَعَانُجس سے مدد چاہی جاسکتی ہے
  16. عَلٰیاس کے خلاف
  17. مَاجو
  18. تَصِفُوْنَتم بیان کررہے ہو

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور و ہ یُوسف کی قمیص پر جھُوٹ مُوٹ کا خون لگا کر لے آئے تھے۔ یہ سُن کر اُن کے باپ نے کہا”بلکہ تمہارے نفس نے تمہارے لیے ایک بڑے کام کو آسان بنا دیا۔ اچھا، صبر کروں گااور بخوبی کروں گا،1 جو بات تم بنا رہے ہو اس پر اللہ ہی سے مدد مانگی جا سکتی ہے۔“2

  1. متن میں”صبر جمیل“ کے الفاظ ہیں جن کا لفظی ترجمہ ”اچھا صبر“ ہوسکتا ہے۔ اس سے مراد ایسا صبر ہے جس میں شکایت نہ ہو، فریاد نہ ہو، جَزَع نزع نہ ہو، ٹھنڈے دل سے اس مصیبت کو برداشت کیا جائے جو ایک عالی ظرف انسان پر آپڑی ہو۔

  2. بائیبل اور تلمود یہاں حضرت یعقوب ؑ کے تاثر کا نقشہ بھی کچھ ایسا کھینچتی ہیں جو کسی معمولی باپ کے تاثر سے کچھ بھی مختلف نہیں ہے۔ بائیبل کا بیان یہ ہےکہ ”تب یعقوب نے اپنا پیراہن چاک کیا اور ٹاٹ اپنی کمر سے لپیٹا اور بہت دنوں تک اپنے بیٹے کے لیے ماتم کرتا رہا“۔ اور تلمود کا بیان ہے کہ ”یعقوب بیٹے کا قمیص پہچانتے ہی اوندھے منہ زمین  پر گر پڑا اور دیر تک بے حس و حرکت پڑا رہا، پھر اٹھ کر بڑے زور سے چیخا کہ ہاں یہ میرے بیٹے ہی کا قمیص ہے …………. اور وہ سالہا سال تک یوسف ؑ کا ماتم کرتا رہا“۔ اس نقشے میں حضرت یعقوب ؑ  وہی کچھ کرتے نظر آتے ہیں جو ہر باپ ایسے موقع پر کرے گا۔ لیکن قرآن جو نقشہ پیش کررہا ہے اس سے ہمارے سامنے ایک ایسے غیر معمولی انسان کی تصویر آتی ہے جو کمال درجہ بردبار و باوقار ہے، اتنی بڑی غم انگیز خبر سن کر بھی اپنے دماغ کا توازن نہیں کھوتا، اپنی فراست سے معاملہ کہ ٹھیک ٹھیک نوعیت کو بھانپ جاتا ہے کہ یہ ایک بناوٹی بات ہے جو ان حاسد بیٹوں نے بناکر پیش کی ہے، اور پھرعالی ظرف انسانوں کی طرح صبر کرتا ہے اور خدا پر بھروسہ کرتا ہے۔

اور وہ اس کی قمیص پر جھوٹ موٹ کا خون بھی لگا لائے حضرت یعقوب نے فرمایا : (واقعہ یوں نہیں) بلکہ تمہارے نفسوں نے تمہارے لیے ایک بڑے کام کو آسان بنا دیا ہے اب صبر ہی بہتر ہے اور اللہ ہی کی مدد طلب کی جاسکتی ہے اس پر جو تم بیان کر رہے ہو

Commentary

قَالَ بَلْ سَوَّلَتْ لَکُمْ اَنْفُسُکُمْ اَمْرًاان کی بات سن کر حضرت یعقوب نے فرمایا کہ نہیں بات کچھ اور ہے۔ یہ بات جو تم بتا رہے ہو یہ تو تمہارے جی کی گھڑی ہوئی ایک بات ہے۔ تمہارے نفسوں نے تمہارے لیے ایک بڑی بات کو ہلکا کر کے پیش کیا ہے اور تم لوگوں نے کوئی بہت بڑا غلط اقدام کیا ہے۔فَصَبْرٌ جَمِيْلٌ ۭ وَاللّٰهُ الْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلٰي مَا تَصِفُوْنَ حضرت یعقوب اکیلے تھے بوڑھے تھے اور دوسری طرف دس جوان بیٹے اس صورت حال میں اور کیا کہتے ؟
