- وَمَاۤاور نہیں
- اَرْسَلْنَابھیجا ہم نے
- مِنْآپ سے
- قَبْلِكَپہلے
- اِلَّامگر
- رِجَالًامردوں کو
- نُّوْحِیْۤہم وحی کرتے تھے
- اِلَیْهِمْان کی طرف
- مِّنْمیں سے
- اَهْلِوالوں
- الْقُرٰی ؕبستی
- اَفَلَمْکیا پھر نہیں
- یَسِیْرُوْاوہ چلے پھرے
- فِیمیں
- الْاَرْضِزمین
- فَیَنْظُرُوْاتو وہ دیکھتے
- كَیْفَکس طرح
- كَانَہوا
- عَاقِبَةُانجام
- الَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کا
- مِنْان سے
- قَبْلِهِمْ ؕپہلے
- وَلَدَارُاور البتہ گھر
- الْاٰخِرَةِآخرت کا
- خَیْرٌبہتر ہے
- لِّلَّذِیْنَان لوگوں کے لئے
- اتَّقَوْا ؕجو تقویٰ اختیار کریں
- اَفَلَاکیا تم
- تَعْقِلُوْنَعقل سے کام نہیں لیتے ہو

Bayan-ul-Quran
اور (اے نبی !) ہم نہیں بھیجتے رہے آپ سے پہلے (رسول بنا کر) مگر مردوں ہی کو بستیوں والوں میں سے جن کی طرف ہم وحی کرتے تھے تو کیا یہ لوگ زمین میں گھومے پھرے نہیں ہیں کہ وہ دیکھتے کہ کیا انجام ہوا ان لوگوں کا جو ان سے پہلے تھے اور یقیناً آخرت کا گھر بہتر ہے ان لوگوں کے لیے جو تقویٰ کی روش اختیار کریں۔ تو کیا تم عقل سے کام نہیں لیتے

Commentary
آیت 109 وَمَآ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ اِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوْحِيْٓ اِلَيْهِمْ مِّنْ اَهْلِ الْقُرٰىیعنی آپ سے پہلے مختلف ادوار میں اور مختلف علاقوں میں جو انبیاء و رسل آئے وہ سب آدمی ہی تھے اور ان ہی بستیوں کے رہنے والوں میں سے تھے۔اَفَلَمْ يَسِيْرُوْا فِي الْاَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوْا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ یہ انہی اقوام کے انجام کی طرف اشارہ ہے جن کا ذکر انباء الرسل کے تحت قرآن میں بار بار آیا ہے۔ وَلَدَارُ الْاٰخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ لِّـلَّذِيْنَ اتَّقَوْا ۭاَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ اگلی آیت مشکلات القرآن میں سے ہے اور اس کے بارے میں بہت سی آراء ہیں۔ میرے نزدیک جو رائے صحیح تر ہے صرف وہ یہاں بیان کی جا رہی ہے۔
