Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور کوئی اُس کا ہمسر نہیں ہے۔1

  1. اصل میں لفظ ِ کُفُو استعمال ہوا ہے جس کے معنی ہیں نظیر، مُشابِہ، مُماثِل، ہم رتبہ، مُساوِی۔ نکاح کے معاملہ میں کُفو کا لفظ ہماری زبان میں بھی استعمال ہوتا ہے اور اس سے مقصود یہ ہوتا ہے کہ لڑکا اور لڑکی معاشرتی حیثیت سے برابر کی جوڑھوں۔ پس اِس آیت کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ ساری کائنات میں کوئی نہیں ہے ، نہ کبھی تھا، نہ کبھی ہو سکتا ہے، جو اللہ کے مانند، یا اُس کا ہم مرتبہ ہو ، یا جو اپنی صفات ، افعال اور اختیارات میں اُس سے کسی درجہ میں بھی مشابہت  رکھتا ہو۔
