Commentary
آیت 2 { اَللّٰہُ الصَّمَدُ۔ } ”اللہ سب کا مرجع ہے۔“ صَمَد کے لغوی معنی ایسی مضبوط چٹان کے ہیں جس کو سہارا بنا کر کوئی جنگجو اپنے دشمن کے خلاف لڑتا ہے تاکہ دشمن پیچھے سے حملہ نہ کرسکے۔ بعد میں یہ لفظ اسی مفہوم میں ایسے بڑے بڑے سرداروں کے لیے بھی استعمال ہونے لگا جو لوگوں کو پناہ دیتے تھے اور جن سے لوگ اپنے مسائل کے لیے رجوع کرتے تھے۔ اس طرح اس لفظ میں مضبوط سہارے اور مرجع جس کی طرف رجوع کیا جائے کے معنی مستقل طور پر آگئے۔ چناچہ اَللّٰہُ الصَّمَدُ کا مفہوم یہ ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی تمام مخلوقات کا مرجع اور مضبوط سہارا ہے۔ وہ خود بخود قائم ہے ‘ اسے کسی سہارے کی ضرورت نہیں۔ باقی تمام مخلوقات کو اس کے سہارے کی ضرورت ہے اور تمام مخلوق کی زندگی اور ہرچیز کا وجود اسی کی بدولت ہے۔ { وَلاَ یُحِیْطُوْنَ بِشَیْئٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِہٖٓ اِلاَّ بِمَا شَآئَج } البقرۃ : 255 ”اور وہ احاطہ نہیں کرسکتے اللہ کے علم میں سے کسی شے کا بھی سوائے اس کے جو وہ خود چاہے“۔ ظاہر ہے وہ الحی اور القیوم ہے ‘ یعنی خود زندہ ہے اور تمام مخلوق کو تھامے ہوئے ہے۔ باقی تمام مخلوقات کے ہر فرد کا وجود مستعار ہے اور کائنات میں جو زندہ چیزیں ہیں ان کی زندگی بھی مستعار ہے۔ جیسے ہم انسانوں کی زندگی بھی ”عمر دراز مانگ کے لائے تھے چار دن !“ کے مصداق اسی کی عطا کردہ ہے۔
