وَرَاَیْتَاور تم نے دیکھا
النَّاسَلوگوں کو
یَدْخُلُوْنَداخل ہو رہے ہیں
فِیْمیں
دِیْنِدین (میں)
اللّٰهِاللہ کے
اَفْوَاجًافوج در فوج
۟ۙ

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اور (اے نبیؐ) تم دیکھ لو کہ لوگ فوج در فوج اللہ کے دین میں داخل ہو رہے ہیں¹

یعنی وہ زمانہ رُخصت ہو جائے جب ایک ایک دو دو کر کے لوگ اسلام میں داخل ہوتے تھے اور وہ وقت آجائے جب پورے پورے قبیلے ، اور بڑے بڑے علاقوں کے باشندے کسی جنگ اور کسی مزاحمت کے بغیر ازخود مسلمان ہونے لگیں۔ یہ کیفیت سن 9 ہجری کے آغاز سے رونما ہونی شروع ہوئی جس کی وجہ سے اُس سال کو سالِ وُفود کہا جاتا ہے۔ عرب کے گوشے گوشے سے وفد پر وفد رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہونے لگے اور اسلام قبول کرکے آپ کے دست مبارک پر بیعت کرنے لگے۔ یہاں تک کہ سن 1۰ ہجری میں جب حضورؐ حَجۃ الوداع کے لیے تشریف لے گئے اُس وقت پورا عرب اسلام کے زیرِ نگیں ہو چکا تھا اور ملک میں کوئی مشرک باقی نہ رہا تھا۔
