- قَالَاس نے کہا
- یٰقَوْمِاے میری قوم
- اَرَءَیْتُمْکیا غور کیا تم نے
- اِنْاگر
- كُنْتُہوا میں
- عَلٰیاوپر
- بَیِّنَةٍایک کھلی دلیل کے
- مِّنْسے
- رَّبِّیْاپنے رب کی طرف سے
- وَرَزَقَنِیْاور اس نے رزق دیا مجھ کو
- مِنْهُاپنے پاس سے
- رِزْقًارزق
- حَسَنًا ؕاچھا
- وَمَاۤاور نہیں
- اُرِیْدُمیں چاہتا
- اَنْکہ
- اُخَالِفَكُمْمیں خلاف کروں تمہارے
- اِلٰیطرف
- مَاۤاس کے جو
- اَنْهٰىكُمْمیں روکتا ہوں تم کو
- عَنْهُ ؕجس سے
- اِنْنہیں
- اُرِیْدُمیں چاہتا
- اِلَّامگر
- الْاِصْلَاحَاصلاح
- مَاجو
- اسْتَطَعْتُ ؕمیں استطاعت رکھتا ہوں
- وَمَااور نہیں
- تَوْفِیْقِیْۤتوفیق میری
- اِلَّامگر
- بِاللّٰهِ ؕساتھ اللہ کے
- عَلَیْهِاس پر
- تَوَكَّلْتُمیں نے توکل کیا
- وَاِلَیْهِاور اسی کی طرف
- اُنِیْبُمیں رجوع کرتا ہوں

آپ نے فرمایا : اے میری قوم کے لوگو ! ذرا سوچو کہ اگر میں (پہلے بھی) اپنے رب کی طرف سے بیّنہ پر تھا اور اللہ نے اپنے پاس سے مجھے اچھا رزق بھی عطا کیا ہے اور میں ہرگز نہیں چاہتا کہ جس چیز سے تم لوگوں کو منع کروں خود وہی کام کروں میں تو کچھ نہیں چاہتا سوائے اصلاح کے جس قدر مجھ میں استطاعت ہے اور میری توفیق تو اللہ ہی کی طرف سے ہے اسی پر میں نے توکلّ کیا ہے اور اسی کی طرف میں رجوع کرتا ہوں

Commentary
آیت 88 قَالَ يٰقَوْمِ اَرَءَيْتُمْ اِنْ كُنْتُ عَلٰي بَيِّنَةٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّيْ حضرت شعیب نے وہی بات فرمائی جو دوسرے انبیاء و رسل اپنی اپنی قوم سے فرماتے آئے تھے کہ تمہارے درمیان رہتے ہوئے میرا کردار اور اخلاق پہلے بھی مثالی تھا ‘ میں اس معاشرے میں ایک شریف النفس اور سلیم الفطرت انسان کے طور پر معروف تھا۔وَرَزَقَنِيْ مِنْهُ رِزْقًا حَسَـنًایعنی پھر مجھے اللہ نے نبوت اور رسالت سے بھی سرفراز فرما دیا ہے۔اِنْ اُرِيْدُ اِلَّا الْاِصْلَاحَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ ۭ وَمَا تَوْفِيْقِيْٓ اِلَّا باللّٰهِ میرا مقصد تم لوگوں کی اصلاح ہے اور اس سلسلے میں جو کچھ بھی میں کر رہا ہوں وہ اللہ کی توفیق ہی سے کر رہا ہوں۔ اسی نے مجھے ہمت اور استقامت سے نوازا ہے۔
