Commentary (one passage for ayahs 11:59, 11:60)
آیت 59 وَتِلْكَ عَادٌ ڐ جَحَدُوْا بِاٰيٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَعَصَوْا رُسُلَهٗ یہاں پر ان تمام انبیاء کو بھی رسول کہا گیا ہے جو حضرت ہود سے پہلے اس قوم میں مبعوث ہوئے۔ اکثر اس طرح ہوتا رہا ہے کہ کسی قوم میں پہلے بہت سے انبیاء کرام ان کے معلمین کی حیثیت سے آتے رہے اور پھر آخر میں ایک رسول آیا۔ اور جیسا کہ قبل ازیں بھی نبی اور رسول کے فرق کے ضمن میں بیان ہوچکا ہے کہ قرآن میں یہ دونوں الفاظ اگر الگ الگ آئیں تو ایک دوسرے کی جگہ پر آسکتے ہیں ‘ لیکن اگر یہ دونوں الفاظ اکٹھے ایک جگہ آئیں تو پھر ان میں سے ہر لفظ اپنے خاص معنی دیتا ہے۔
