  1. قَالَاس نے کہا
  2. یٰقَوْمِاے میری قوم
  3. اَرَءَیْتُمْکیا دیکھا تم نے
  4. اِنْاگر
  5. كُنْتُمیں ہوا
  6. عَلٰیپر
  7. بَیِّنَةٍایک دلیل (پر)
  8. مِّنْسے
  9. رَّبِّیْاپنے رب (کی طرف سے)
  10. وَاٰتٰىنِیْاور اس نے عطا کی مجھ کو
  11. رَحْمَةًرحمت
  12. مِّنْسے
  13. عِنْدِهٖاپنی جانب (سے)
  14. فَعُمِّیَتْتو وہ چھپائی گئی
  15. عَلَیْكُمْ ؕتم پر
  16. اَنُلْزِمُكُمُوْهَاکیا ہم لازم کردیں تم پر اس کو۔ کیا ہم تھوپ دیں اس کو تم پر
  17. وَاَنْتُمْاور جبکہ ہو تم
  18. لَهَااس کو
  19. كٰرِهُوْنَناپسند کرنے والے ہو

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

اس نے کہا ”اے برادرانِ قوم، ذرا سوچو تو سہی کہ اگر میں اپنے ربّ کی طرف سے ایک کھُلی شہادت پر قائم تھا اور پھر اس نے مجھ کو اپنی خاص رحمت سے بھی نوازدیا1 مگر وہ تم کو نظر نہ آئی تو آخر ہمارے پاس کیا ذریعہ ہے کہ تم ماننا نہ چاہو اور ہم زبردستی اس کو تمہارے سَر چپیک دیں؟

  1. یہ وہی بات ہے جو ابھی پچھلے رکوع میں محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سےکہوائی جا چکی ہے  کہ پہلے میں خود آفاق و انفس میں خدا کی نشانیاں دیکھ کر توحید کی حقیقت تک  پہنچ چکا تھا، پھر خدا نے اپنی رحمت (یعنی وحی) سے مجھے نوازا اور ان حقیقتوں کی براہِ راست علم مجھے بخش دیا جن پر میرا دل پہلے سے گواہی دے رہا تھا۔ اس سے یہ بھی معلوم ہوا کہ تمام پیغمبر نبوت سے قبل اپنے غور و فکر سے ایمان با لغیب حاصل کر چکے ہوتے تھے، پھر اللہ تعالیٰ ان کو منصب نبوت عطا کرتے وقت ایمان بالشہادۃ عطا کرتا تھا۔

Bayan-ul-Quran

نوح ؑ نے کہا : اے میری قوم کے لوگو ! ذرا غور کرو اگر میں (پہلے سے ہی) اپنے رب کی طرف سے بیّنہ پر تھا اور (اب) اس نے مجھے اپنے پاس سے خاص رحمت بھی عطافرما دی ہے (اور یہ وہ چیز ہے) جس کو تمہاری نظروں سے پوشیدہ رکھا گیا ہے تو کیا ہم چپکا دیں تم پر اس کو (زبردستی) جبکہ تم لوگ اس کو ناپسند کرتے ہو

Commentary

آیت 28 قَالَ یٰقَوْمِ اَرَءَ یْتُمْ اِنْ کُنْتُ عَلٰی بَیِّنَۃٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّیْ یہ لفظ بَیِّنَۃ اس سورت میں بار بار آئے گا۔ یعنی میں نے اپنی زندگی تمہارے درمیان گزاری ہے ‘ میرا کردار ‘ میرا اخلاق اور میرا رویہ ‘ سب کچھ تم اچھی طرح جانتے ہو۔ تم لوگ جانتے ہو کہ میں ایک شریف النفس اور سلیم الفطرت انسان ہوں۔ لہٰذا تم لوگ غور کرو کہ پہلے بھی اگر میں ایسی شخصیت کا حامل انسان تھا :وَاٰتٰٹنِیْ رَحْمَۃً مِّنْ عِنْدِہٖ فَعُمِّیَتْ عَلَیْکُمْ یعنی میرے اوپر اللہ کی رحمت سے وحی آتی ہے جس کی کیفیت اور حقیقت کا ادراک تم لوگ نہیں کرسکتے۔ میں اس کے بارے میں تم لوگوں کو بتا ہی سکتا ہوں ‘ دکھا تو نہیں سکتا۔ اَنُلْزِمُکُمُوْہَا وَاَنْتُمْ لَہَا کٰرِہُوْنَ اب اگر ایک بات آپ لوگوں کو پسند نہیں آرہی تو ہم زبردستی اس کو تمہارے سر نہیں تھوپ سکتے۔ ہم آپ لوگوں کو مجبور تو نہیں کرسکتے کہ آپ ضرور ہی اللہ کو اپنا معبود اور مجھے اس کا رسول مانو۔
