  1. اُولٰٓىِٕكَیہی لوگ
  2. لَمْنہ
  3. یَكُوْنُوْاوہ ہوجائے
  4. مُعْجِزِیْنَعاجز کرنے والے
  5. فِیمیں
  6. الْاَرْضِزمین (میں)
  7. وَمَااور نہیں
  8. كَانَتھا
  9. لَهُمْان کے لیے
  10. مِّنْکے
  11. دُوْنِسوا
  12. اللّٰهِاللہ کے
  13. مِنْکوئی
  14. اَوْلِیَآءَ ۘمددگار
  15. یُضٰعَفُدوگنا کیا جائے گا
  16. لَهُمُان کے لیے
  17. الْعَذَابُ ؕعذاب
  18. مَانہ
  19. كَانُوْاتھے
  20. یَسْتَطِیْعُوْنَوہ استطاعت رکھتے
  21. السَّمْعَسننے کی
  22. وَمَااور نہ ہی
  23. كَانُوْاتھے وہ
  24. یُبْصِرُوْنَوہ دیکھتے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

وہ زمین میں اللہ کو بے بس کرنے والے نہ تھے اور نہ اللہ کے مقابلے میں کوئی اُن کا حامی تھا۔ اُنہیں اب دوہرا عذاب دیا جائے گا۔1وہ نہ کسی کی سُن ہی سکتے تھے اور نہ خود ہی اُنہیں کچھ سُو جھتا تھا

Bayan-ul-Quran

یہ لوگ زمین میں (اللہ کو) ہرگز عاجز کرنے والے نہیں ہیں اور نہ ہی اللہ کے سوا ان کا کوئی حمایتی ہے ان کے لیے عذاب دو گنا کیا جاتا رہے گا اس لیے کہ) نہ تو وہ سننے کی صلاحیت رکھتے تھے اور نہ ہی دیکھتے تھے

Commentary

آیت 20 اُولٰۗىِٕكَ لَمْ يَكُوْنُوْا مُعْجِزِيْنَ فِي الْاَرْضِ یہ لوگ اللہ کے قابو سے باہر نہیں ہیں اور اللہ اور اس کے رسول کو ہرگز شکست نہیں دے سکتے۔مَا کَانُوْا یَسْتَطِیْعُوْنَ السَّمْعَ وَمَا کَانُوْا یُبْصِرُوْنَ وہ بالکل اندھے اور بہرے ہوگئے تھے۔ سورة البقرۃ میں ایسے لوگوں کی کیفیت اس طرح بیان کی گئی ہے : صُمٌّم بُکْمٌ عُمْیٌ فَہُمْ لاَ یَرْجِعُوْنَ ۔ حق کے لیے ان لوگوں کے اسی رویہ کی وجہ سے ان کا عذاب بڑھایا جاتا رہے گا۔
