بے شک تیرا رب اگر چاہتا تو تمام انسانوں کو ایک گروہ بنا سکتا تھا، مگر اب تو وہ مختلف طریقوں ہی پر چلتے رہیں گے

اور اگر آپ کا رب چاہتا تو تمام نوع انسانی کو ایک ہی امت بنا دیتا لیکن وہ تو اختلاف کرتے ہی رہیں گے

Commentary

آیت 118 وَلَوْ شَاۗءَ رَبُّكَ لَجَعَلَ النَّاسَ اُمَّةً وَّاحِدَةً وَّلَا يَزَالُوْنَ مُخْتَلِفِيْنَ جہاں کہیں بھی لوگ اکٹھے مل جل کر رہ رہے ہوں گے ان میں اختلاف رائے کا ہونا بالکل فطری بات ہے۔ مختلف لوگوں کی مختلف سوچ ہے ہر ایک کا اپنا اپنا نقطہ نظر ہے اور اس کے لیے اپنا اپنا استدلال ہے۔ اسی کے مطابق ان کے نظریات ہیں اور اسی کے مطابق ان کے اعمال و افعال۔ جب تک یہ استدلال علم اور قرآن وسنت کی بنیاد پر ہے تو اس میں کوئی قباحت نہیں ‘ بشرطیکہ یہ اختلاف کی حد تک رہے اور تفرقہ کی صورت اختیار نہ کرے اور ”من دیگر م تو دیگری“ والا معاملہ نہ ہو۔ اس نکتہ کو یوں بھی سمجھنا چاہیے کہ امام ابوحنیفہ اور امام شافعی رحمۃ اللہ علیہما دونوں نے قرآن و سنت سے استدلال کیا ہے ‘ مگر بعض اوقات دونوں بزرگوں کی آراء میں بہت زیادہ اختلاف پایا جاتا ہے۔ مگر ایسے اہل علم حضرات کے ہاں ایسا اختلاف کبھی بھی نزاع اور تفرقہ بازی کا باعث نہیں بنتا۔ ایک دوسرے زاویے سے دیکھا جائے تو دنیا کی رونق اور خوبصورتی بھی اسی تنوع اور اختلاف سے قائم ہے۔ گلہائے رنگا رنگ سے ہے رونق چمن اے ذوق اس چمن کو ہے زیب اختلاف سے !اگر دنیا میں یکسانیت monotany ہی ہو تو انسان کی طبیعت اس سے اکتا جائے۔
