قرآن مجید میں اِس مقام کے سوا اور کہیں جہنّم کی آگ کو اللہ کی آگ نہیں کہا گیا ہے۔ اِس مقام پر اُس کو اللہ تعالیٰ کیطرف منسوب کرنے سے نہ صرف اُس کی ہولناکی کا اظہار ہوتا ہے بلکہ یہ بھی معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ دنیا کی دولت پا کر غرور و تکبُّر میں مبتلا ہ و جانے والوں کو اللہ کس قدر سخت نفرت اور غضب کی نگاہ سے دیکھتا ہے جس کی وجہ سے اُس نے اُس آگ کو خاص اپنی آگ کہا ہے جس میں وہ پھینکے جائیں گے۔

Commentary (one passage for ayahs 104:6, 104:7)
آیت 7{ الَّتِیْ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَی الْاَفْئِدَۃِ۔ } ”جو دلوں کے اوپر جا چڑھے گی۔“ یعنی اس آگ کی حدت اور تپش انسان کی جلد سے زیادہ اس کے دل پر اثر انداز ہوگی۔ بہرحال آج جب انسان خود Infra red Rays اور Ultra violet Rays سمیت آگ اور حرارت کی رنگا رنگ اقسام ایجاد کرچکا ہے اس کے لیے ”حُطَمَہ“ کی مذکورہ خصوصیت کو سمجھنا بہت آسان ہوگیا ہے۔ ایک صاحب نے خیال پیش کیا ہے کہ حُطَمَۃ ایٹمی حرارت کی کوئی شکل ہوگی۔ ان کا کہنا ہے کہ ایٹم سے جو حرارت پھیلتی ہے وہ براہ راست آگ نہیں ہوتی لیکن انسان کے وجود کو چیرتی چلی جاتی ہے۔
