Surah 102, ayah 3

  3. تَعْلَمُوْنَتم جان لو گے

Translation and commentary

Tafheem-ul-Quran

ہرگز نہیں، عنقریب تم کو معلوم ہو جائے گا۔1

  1. یعنی تمہیں یہ غلط فہمی ہے کہ متاعِ دنیا کی یہ کثرت، اور اس میں دوسروں سے بڑھ جانا ہی ترقی اور کامیابی ہے ۔ حالانکہ یہ ہر گز ترقی اور کامیابی نہیں ہے۔ عنقریب اِس کا برا انجام تمہیں معلوم ہو جائے گا اور تم جان لوگے کہ یہ کتنی بڑی غلطی تھی جس میں تم عمر بھر مبتلا  رہے۔ عنقریب سے مراد آخرت بھی ہو سکتی ہے ، کیونکہ جس ہستی کی نگاہ ازل سے ابد تک تمام زمانوں پر حاوی ہے، اس کے لیے چند ہزار یا چند لاکھ سال بھی زمانے کا ایک چھوٹا سا حصہ ہیں۔ لیکن اس سے مراد موت بھی ہو سکتی ہے ، کیونکہ وہ تو کسی انسان سے بھی کچھ زیادہ دور نہیں ہے ، اور یہ بات مرتے ہی انسان پر کھل جائے گی کہ جن مشاغل میں وہ اپنی ساری عمر کھپا  کر آیا ہے و ہ اس کے لیے سعادت و خوش بختی کا ذریعہ تھے یا  بد انجامی و بدبختی کا ذریعہ۔

کوئی بات نہیں ! بہت جلد تمہیں معلوم ہوجائے گا۔

Commentary (one passage for ayahs 102:2, 102:3)

آیت 2{ حَتّٰی زُرْتُمُ الْمَقَابِرَ۔ } ”یہاں تک کہ تم قبروں کو پہنچ جاتے ہو۔“ یعنی انسان اپنی ساری عمر اسی تگ و دو میں کھپا دیتا ہے اور مرتے دم تک یہ فکر اس کا پیچھا نہیں چھوڑتی۔ انسان کی حرص و ہوس کے پیمانے کو صرف قبر کی مٹی ہی بھر سکتی ہے 1۔ سورة الحدید کی آیت 20 میں انسانی زندگی کے جن مراحل کا ذکر ہوا ہے ان میں آخری مرحلہ تکاثر فی الاموال والاولاد کا ہے۔ اس سے ثابت ہوتا ہے کہ آخری عمر میں انسان کی یہ حرص مزید بڑھ جاتی ہے۔
