فَالْیَوْمَتو آج
نُنَجِّیْكَہم بچا لیں گے تجھ کو
بِبَدَنِكَتیرے بدن کے ساتھ
لِتَكُوْنَتاکہ تو ہوجائے
لِمَنْواسطے ان کے جو
خَلْفَكَتیرے پیچھے ہیں
اٰیَةً ؕایک نشانی
وَاِنَّاور بیشک
كَثِیْرًابہت سے
مِّنَمیں سے
النَّاسِلوگوں
عَنْسے
اٰیٰتِنَاہماری آیات
لَغٰفِلُوْنَالبتہ غافل ہیں
۟۠

Translation and commentary

Bayan-ul-Quran

تو آج ہم تمہارے بدن کو بچائیں گے تاکہ تو اپنے بعد والوں کے لیے ایک نشانی بنا رہے اور یقیناً بہت سے لوگ ہماری آیات سے غفلت ہی برتتے رہتے ہیں

Commentary

آیت 92 فَالْیَوْمَ نُنَجِّیْکَ بِبَدَنِکَ لِتَکُوْنَ لِمَنْ خَلْفَکَ اٰیَۃً یعنی تمہارے جسم کو محفوظ رکھا جائے گا ‘ اس کو گلنے سڑنے نہیں دیا جائے گا تاکہ بعد میں آنے والے اسے دیکھ کر عبرت حاصل کرسکیں۔ چناچہ غرق ہونے کے کچھ عرصہ بعد فرعون کی لاش کنارے پر پائی گئی تھی ‘ صرف اس کے ناک کو کسی مچھلی وغیرہ نے کاٹا تھا ‘ باقی لاش صحیح سلامت تھی اور آج تک قاہرہ کے عجائب گھر میں موجود ہے
