موسیٰؑ نے اپنی قوم سے کہا کہ ”لوگو، اگر تم واقعی اللہ پر ایمان رکھتے ہو تو اُس پر بھروسہ کرو اگر مسلمان ہو۔1

ظاہر ہے کہ یہ الفاظ کسی کافر قوم کو خطاب کر کے نہیں کہے جا سکتے تھے۔ حضرت موسیٰ کا یہ ارشاد صاف بتا رہا ہے کہ بنی اسرائیل کی پوری قوم اس وقت مسلمان تھی، اور حضرت موسیٰ ان کو یہ تلقین فرما رہے تھے کہ اگر تم واقعی مسلمان ہو، جیسا کہ تمہارا دعویٰ ہے ، تو فرعون کی طاقت سے خوف نہ کھاؤ بلکہ اللہ کی طاقت پر بھروسہ کرو۔

Commentary (one passage for ayahs 10:83, 10:84)
عَلٰی خَوْفٍ مِّنْ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلاَءِہِمْ اَنْ یَّفْتِنَہُمْ اس وقت مصر پر قبطی قوم حکمران تھی ‘ جسے قرآن نے ”آل فرعون“ کہا ہے اور اسرائیلی ان کے محکوم تھے۔ حضرت موسیٰ اپنی قوم بنی اسرائیل کی آزادی کے علمبردار تھے ‘ لیکن اس کے باوجود بنی اسرائیل میں سے بھی صرف چند نوجوان لڑکوں نے ہی آپ کی دعوت پر لبیک کہا تھا۔ دراصل غلام ہونے کی وجہ سے وہ لوگ فرعون اور اس کے سرداروں کے مظالم سے خوف زدہ تھے۔ عام طور پر ہر محکوم قوم کے ساتھ اسی طرح ہوتا ہے کہ اس کے کچھ لوگ اپنی قوم سے غداری کر کے حکمرانوں سے مل جاتے ہیں اور حکمران انہیں مراعات اور خطابات سے نواز کر ان کی وفاداریاں خرید لیتے ہیں۔ چناچہ بنی اسرائیل میں سے بھی کچھ لوگ فرعون کے ایجنٹ بن چکے تھے۔ اس کی سب سے بڑی مثال قارون کی ہے۔ وہ حضرت موسیٰ کی قوم میں سے تھا مگر فرعون کا درباری اور اس کا ایجنٹ تھا۔ یہی وجہ تھی کہ وہ حضرت موسیٰ کے خلاف سازشیں کرتا رہتا تھا اس کا تفصیلی ذکر سورة القصص میں ہے۔ بہر حال بنی اسرائیل کے عام لوگ ایسے مخبروں کے ڈر سے حضرت موسیٰ کے قریب ہونے سے گریز کرتے تھے۔ نوجوان چونکہ با ہمت اور پر جوش ہوتے ہیں ‘ اس لیے وہ اس طرح کی انقلابی آواز پر لبیک کہنے کا خطرہ مول لے لیتے ہیں ‘ جبکہ اسی قوم کے ادھیڑ عمر لوگ کم ہمتی اور مصلحتوں کا شکار ہوتے ہیں۔ یہ پورا فلسفہ اس آیت میں موجود ہے۔ ان آیات کے نزول کے وقت اہل مکہ میں سے بھی محمد رسول اللہ کا ساتھ دینے کے لیے جو لوگ آگے بڑھ رہے تھے وہ چند باہمت نوجوان ہی تھے ‘ نہ کہ مصلحت کوش بوڑھے۔
