Translation and commentary
Bayan-ul-Quran
اور جب انسان کو کوئی تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تو وہ ہمیں پکارتا ہے پہلو کے بل (لیٹے ہوئے) یا بیٹھے ہوئے یا کھڑے ہوئے۔ پھر جب ہم اس سے اس کی تکلیف کو دور کردیتے ہیں تو وہ ایسے چل دیتا ہے جیسے اس نے ہمیں کبھی پکارا ہی نہ تھا کوئی تکلیف پہنچنے پر۔ ایسے ہی مزین کردیا گیا ہے ان حد سے بڑھنے والوں کے لیے ان کے اعمال کو۔

Commentary (one passage for ayahs 10:12, 10:13)
آیت 12 وَاِذَا مَسَّ الْاِنْسَان الضُّرُّ دَعَانَا لِجَنْبِہٖٓ اَوْ قَاعِدًا اَوْ قَآءِمًا ج ”اور جب انسان کو کوئی تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تو وہ ہمیں پکارتا ہے پہلو کے بل لیٹے ہوئے یا بیٹھے ہوئے یا کھڑے ہوئے۔“فَلَمَّا کَشَفْنَا عَنْہُ ضُرَّہٗ مَرَّ کَاَنْ لَّمْ یَدْعُنَآ اِلٰی ضُرٍّ مَّسَّہٗ ط ”پھر جب ہم اس سے اس کی تکلیف کو دور کردیتے ہیں تو وہ ایسے چل دیتا ہے جیسے اس نے ہمیں کبھی پکارا ہی نہ تھا کوئی تکلیف پہنچنے پر۔“کَذٰلِکَ زُیِّنَ لِلْمُسْرِفِیْنَ مَا کَانُوْا یَعْمَلُوْنَ ”ایسے ہی مزین کردیا گیا ہے ان حد سے بڑھنے والوں کے لیے ان کے اعمال کو۔“ان کے اندر اتنی ڈھٹائی پیدا ہوگئی ہے کہ ذرا تکلیف آجائے تو گڑ گڑا کر دعائیں مانگیں گے ‘ ہر حال میں ہمیں پکاریں گے اور گریہ وزاری میں راتیں گزار دیں گے۔ لیکن جب وہ تکلیف رفع ہوجائے گی تو ایسے بھول جائیں گے گویا ہمیں جانتے ہی نہیں۔
