وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ بْنُ سَوَّارٍ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ . نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ زُرَيْعٍ وَلَيْسَ فِي حَدِيثِهِمَا فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَفْضَلُ مِنْهُ .
ہاشم بن قاسم اور شبابہ بن سوار دونوں نے شعبہ سے اسی سند کے ساتھ یزید بن زریع کی حدیث کے مانند بیان کیا ، ان دونوں کی روایتوں میں یہ نہیں کہ ا س شخص نے کہا : " رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بعد کوئی شخص اس ( آدمی ) سے افضل نہیں ۔
