حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ، عُثْمَانُ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ مَا رَأَيْتُ رَجُلاً أَشَدَّ عَلَيْهِ الْوَجَعُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . وَفِي رِوَايَةِ عُثْمَانَ مَكَانَ الْوَجَعِ وَجَعًا .
عثمان بن ابی شیبہ اور اسحٰق بن ابراہیم نے کہا : ہمیں جریر نے اعمش سے حدیث بیان کی ، انہوں نے ابووائل سے ، انہوں نے مسروق سے روایت کی ، کہا : حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا : میں نے کوئی شخص نہیں دیکھا جسے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے زیادہ سخت تکلیف کا سامنا کرنا پڑا ہو ۔ عثمان کی روایت میں " سخت تکلیف کا سامنا " کے بجائے " جس کی تکلیف زیادہ سخت ہو " ہے ۔
