حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، وَأَبِي، سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْداللَّهِ، قَالَ جَاءَ أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ بِقَدَحٍ مِنْ لَبَنٍ مِنَ النَّقِيعِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَلاَّ خَمَّرْتَهُ وَلَوْ أَنْ تَعْرُضَ عَلَيْهِ عُودًا ".
ہم سے قتیبہ بن سعید نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے جریر نے بیان کیا، ان سے اعمش نے، ان سے ابوصالح (ذکوان) اور ابوسفیان (طلحہ بن نافع قرشی) نے اور ان سے جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما نے بیان کیا کہ ابو حمید ساعدی مقام نقیع سے دودھ کا ایک پیالہ ( کھلا ہوا ) لائے تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا کہ اسے ڈھک کر کیوں نہیں لائے ایک لکڑی ہی اس پر رکھ لیتے۔
